The China-Europe Express "Eastern Corridor" is composed of the Manzhouli, Suifenhe and Tongjiang railway ports. It is the largest China-Europe Express port cluster in China, and its annual traffic accounts for 30% of China's total.
At present, there are 27 routes through the "Eastern Corridor" of China-Europe Express, which can reach 14 countries including Poland, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, and connect more than 60 cities in China including Changsha, Zhengzhou, Chengdu, Xi'an, Nanjing, and Suzhou. The transported goods cover 12 categories including electrical products, commercial vehicles, daily necessities, and agricultural and sideline products.
Data shows that from 2013 to 2023, the annual traffic volume of the China-Europe Express "Eastern Corridor" has increased from 45 trains to 5,000 trains, an increase of 110 times, achieving continuous growth year after year. The time required to run 10,000 trains has been shortened from more than 90 months at the beginning to 21 months now.
The rapid growth of trains is due to the continuous improvement of infrastructure connectivity. All railway ports have fully put into use 95306 "digital ports" to achieve "paperless customs clearance" and further optimize the port business environment. The Manzhouli Station International Freight Yard, Binsui Railway Suifenhe to Border Line, Jiamusi to Tongjiang Railway, and Binzhou Railway Boktu to Xilingkou capacity expansion and reconstruction projects have been implemented successively, and the channel capacity has continued to expand.
The stable operation of the "Eastern Corridor" of the China-Europe Express has promoted the development of the China-Europe Express towards higher quality, better efficiency and greater safety, and provided strong transportation service guarantees for promoting the development of China's foreign trade and serving high-level opening up to the outside world.
