You may not have heard of the "Land Airbus", but you must want to see an MPV that sells for 500,000 yuan.

auspiciousItsLEVCYizhen brand is the newest player in the MPV market. We reported on the first model L380 on the day it was launched. If you are interested, you can click the link to review it.

This time we got aYizhen L380 6-seater version, let’s see if it is worth the price.

Exterior

LEVC is actually an older British brand and a high-end taxi manufacturer in London.

The first product launched by Geely after "reviving" the brand is a luxury MPV, which is in line with the tone of the LEVC brand itself.

The Yizhen L380 has four colors to choose from, and the one we got is the Ice Jade version.

The color and texture of this car have received unanimous praise from the office editors. The actual car is very beautiful, and the double-color combination of ice jade and black dome is full of luxury.

In the words of a colleague: As long as it looks expensive, the boss bought the right one.

The styling of the vehicle is very simple. The front face is a through-type light strip plus rectangular light groups on both sides. The side and rear are very flat, and the peacock-spreading taillight design is highly recognizable.

Hidden door handles on both sides are still a common design on today's new energy vehicles.

Perhaps for design reasons, the hidden door handle of the front door extends further backward and is connected to the door handle of the rear door.

The shape is quite consistent, but I wonder if there will be any warning of pinching fingers.

There is a LEVC logo printed on the chrome trim below the A-pillar, giving you the feel of a luxury car.

After all, having the courage to put your logo all over the car body is the only way to become a luxury brand.

The tire is a Pirelli 235/60 R18 Scorpion tire, and ELECT™ is the logo of the tire specially designed for new energy vehicles.

The front of the Yizhen L380 is designed to be very short. Not only are the front wheels extended as far outward as possible, but the driver's position is also designed to be very forward, all in order to ensure internal riding space.

The third row of seats at the rear of this car is indeed very spacious, and with the same body size, the Yizhen L380 also has a 4-row, 8-seat version.

The length, width and height of Yizhen L380 are 5316x1998x1940/1920 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3185 mm.

This size is considered to be in the first tier in today's MPV market, probably because the pure electric models have battery packs. The body height of 1940mm is basically second to none in the MPV field.

for exampleXiaopeng X9The height of the vehicle is only 1785mm.Ideal MEGAWith a body height of 1850mm, Yizhen L380 is nearly 15cm taller than Xiaopeng X9.

So the car looks quite imposing when viewed from the side, and coupled with the very flat side shape, it really feels a bit like a high-speed train when viewed from the front and side.

Spatial Layout

One inconvenience caused by a high car body is that it is not very convenient to get on the car. In fact, it is no problem for the second-row passengers to get on the car. There is a spacious step design at the second-row door, and there is also a B-pillar armrest, which makes it very convenient to get on the car.

However, getting into the car from the front driver's seat is not very convenient.

Although the Yizhen L380 still has air suspension, the chassis height can be adjusted.

But every time I get in the driver's seat, I feel like I'm getting into a hardcore off-road vehicle with a very high ground clearance.

Therefore, it would be better if an armrest could be designed on the A-pillar like most hard-core off-road vehicles.

The front row layout is also simple and integrated, using a combination of black and brown.

The seat space is spacious and the sight line is good.

There is a through-type design between the driver and the co-driver, and there is a large storage space underneath.

It is equipped with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a rectangular LCD instrument panel, a 15.4-inch central control screen, a hand-held gear shift structure, a 50W wireless charging panel, etc.

It can be said to be the mainstream luxury electric car cabin style.

Meizu's car system, Flyme Auto, is smooth as a whole, and some small details may be optimized, such as the control bar at the bottom level. The vehicle setting icon is far away from the driver's seat and is not very convenient to operate.

The 19.8-inch HUD head-up display has rich content, including navigation and assisted driving information.

There is even a night vision system, but actual testing shows it is more of a novelty and not very practical.

On the lower left side of the steering wheel is a physical button for the light and tailgate switch, which is convenient for blind operation.

For a luxury MPV, the front seats are the most important part of the car.

The second and third row seats of Wingjin L380 are full-function aviation seats.

According to the official introduction, the seat cushion has 8 layers and the backrest has 10 layers, and the seat skin layer is also made of ultra-soft aniline leather fabric.

With such a great seat configuration, several picky colleagues got in the car out of curiosity and sat for a while. They all gave it unanimous praise. It can only be said that "money power" is indeed useful, and you get what you pay for.

The second and third row seats of Yizhen L380 are arranged on a common track. The seat slide track is 1.93m long. The third row seat backrest can be folded backwards or folded forward to form storage space.

In terms of internal seating space, official data shows that the second-row seating space is 1000mm, and the third-row space reaches 940mm, which exceeds the industry.

The overall cabin occupancy rate reaches 75%, and the actual experience is indeed quite spacious.

The support and softness of these two rows of seats are highlights, and bosses who take long-distance trips should enjoy them.

The second row of seats is also well equipped, with a small table and entertainment screen as a regular combination.

In fact, the interior of the entire Yizhen L380 is built with a smart cockpit using one 5G Ethernet, two Longying No. 1 chips, six audio zones, and nine screens.

From the first row to the third row, the third row can also evoke intelligent voice.

Heating, massage and ventilation are also common features of the rear seats.

But this is the first time I have seen three control methods here: touch, voice control, and key control to adjust functions.

The refrigerator supports -6-50 degree temperature control and 0.5-24 hours of customizable insulation, but the internal space is slightly average.

The wireless charging position for mobile phones in the second row of seats needs to be placed vertically. In addition, there are multiple C-port charging ports in the second row.

In summary, the cockpit of Yizhen L380 has two characteristics:

There is enough space and the seats are comfortable enough.

For an MPV, doing these two things well is enough to impress the bosses.

power

The 6-seater version of the Yizhen L380 we got is a four-wheel drive dual-motor model with a maximum motor output power of 400kW and a peak torque of 686N·m.

Equipped with a 140kWh CATL CTP 3.0 Kirin battery pack, the vehicle has a range of up to 805km under CLTC conditions.

In terms of chassis, this car is equipped with front McPherson suspension and rear multi-link independent suspension.

With the configuration of CDC variable damping and air suspension, the chassis performance is unexpectedly good.

Due to the huge size of the entire car body, it may be a bit daunting to drive at first.

But after driving it for a while, the overall chassis feels very straight.

Only the occasional shaking on bumpy roads will make you feel that this is an MPV that focuses on comfort experience, so it can be said that it is the right choice.

Final Thoughts

There are 4 models of Yizhen L380, with prices ranging from 379,900 to 479,900 yuan. The one we got is the top-of-the-line model priced at 479,900 yuan.

The price of nearly 500,000 yuan should be second only to MEGA andZeekr009 is brilliant.

But after some use, I found that the L380 is indeed worth the price. After all, it can arrange the six front and rear seats comfortably while eliminating the anxiety of battery life. There are really few companies in this market that can do this.
