A:sorry to disappoint you, the accompanying general cannot be used for a long time. our design is to shape famous military generals into "rescuing soldiers". when players feel that the battle situation is difficult or want to break the deadlock, they will switch to them to fight. however, we will also consider whether to add a "special use of generals" gameplay mode based on player feedback in a timely manner after the game is released.
Q:according to previous intelligence, the difficulty of the "miscellaneous combat" in this part will become higher. how did the production team achieve it?
A:in fact, in the demo version, we deliberately lowered the difficulty of the mixed soldier battles (laughs). but compared with previous works in the series, this time we have made the soldiers more "fighting" and will frequently attack and chase players. we have also added the "fighting spirit value" setting. as the "fighting spirit value" increases, the combat effectiveness of the soldiers will also be significantly improved. at the same time, the enemy generals will also direct the soldiers to attack in groups just like the players. moreover, the density of soldiers on the battlefield of this generation will be significantly increased, so if you rush into the enemy position without permission and are surrounded by small soldiers, your health will be significantly reduced.
Q:the action system of this generation is more enjoyable to experience. what adjustments has the production team made?
A:compared with other "true three" works, this time players need to consider defense, dodge, and even counterattack in addition to attack. we have also made comprehensive adjustments to the proportions of the action system. we also know that the exhilaration of the "wushuang" series has always been called "mowing the grass" by players, but this time we hope that players can gain a "sense of accomplishment" by defeating powerful opponents through their own operations. players who are used to "mowing the grass" may find it more difficult, but in fact we have designed the judgment windows of each system to be very loose. we just hope that players can feel the "refreshment of defeating the enemy" through their own operations.
Q:this game has some rpg-like designs. do the characters have high growth potential?
A:because this game wants players to operate the character "anonymous" from beginning to end to experience the story, so as the story develops, the characters will have more and more moves to use, and more weapons to switch to, giving them a rich experience. action system.
Q:is the protagonist "anonymous" a fixed character, and can he choose his gender?
A:the character and appearance of "anonymous" have profound "meaning" and a series of original stories and backgrounds. therefore, it is a fixed character and the gender cannot be changed.
Q:after trying the trial version this time, i feel that the level of chinese dubbing has improved significantly. what efforts have the official and localization teams made?
A:after "dynasty warriors 8", we learned from feedback surveys that chinese players had bad comments about the effect of chinese dubbing. so this time we also attach great importance to chinese localization and have had a lot of discussions with colleagues in charge of localization. even today, discussions on chinese localization within the company are still going on, and we hope to make the wording more natural. if the last movie could score 60 points for its supporting cast, i hope to score 80 or even 90 points this time. but because i really don’t understand chinese, i hope to get more honest comments from everyone.
Q:this sequel has changed a lot. will there be disagreements within the company due to different routes?
A:no, because i am a producer, i said i would do it, and everyone agreed (laughs). of course, i have also thought about it a lot. since 2016, the wushuang series has been on the road of "increasing available characters". but from the 6th generation to the 8th generation, i feel more and more that this path cannot continue. the "origin" in the title also means that we want to return to the origin of the series in terms of gameplay system. i often read feedback from players, and some people criticize the fact that there are fewer available characters. but overall, i think the new route is the right one.
Q:what does the producer think of the chinese game market? does the sales of the warriors series in china meet expectations?
A:the "dynasty warriors" series is okay, but the popularity of other warriors works has not yet opened up in china, so sales have not met expectations. in "dynasty warriors 8", we did consider the chinese market and made a lot of efforts, but due to the quality of the game itself, the final result was not good.
because the story of "three kingdoms" comes from china, we borrowed this theme to create the "wushuang" series. therefore, in the new work, i also developed the game with the determination to "satisfy the hometown of "three kingdoms". we hope to satisfy chinese players and make them willing to get involved with other games from ωforce.
