"the unmanned truck has a smart brain." xu bin, account manager of china telecom wuhan branch, said that it is equipped with a variety of sensors and industrial cameras, communicates and locates through 5g networks, and can receive and accurately execute transportation instructions in real time. at the same time, it can also automatically make fine adjustments, avoidance and other actions according to the surrounding environment, enabling mixed operations with manned trucks, improving the intelligence and automation of container terminals.

it is understood that in recent years, china telecom has built a 5g customized network in adjacent mode for yangluo port, realizing 5g-based autonomous driving horizontal transport vehicles, remote control of quay cranes, internal collection trucks and rail crane dispatching, data collection, video, etc. multiple 5g application scenarios.

the person in charge of the engineering technology department of wuhan port container co., ltd. said that china telecom assisted wuhan yangluo port in accelerating the green and smart transformation and upgrading of traditional container terminals, realized smart port model operations, greatly improved port operation efficiency, and helped build the port. a national logistics hub city, providing a strong impetus for creating a new highland for inland opening up.

it is reported that this year, the third phase of yangluo port will also achieve full coverage of unmanned truck collection. by then, more than a dozen "5g+ self-driving" container trucks will be put into operation, and the "smart green" content will continue to reach new highs.
