At present, the overall market size of household cooking robots is relatively small. Consumers' awareness and acceptance of this new cooking tool still needs to be improved, and the relatively high price of the product also limits the purchasing intention of some consumers. According to online monitoring data from Aowei Cloud Network, in the first half of this year, my country's online sales of cooking robots were 130 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 41.2%; sales were 67,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 82.1%.

Judging from the monthly trend, the growth trend during the off-peak period has been more obvious since the beginning of this year. The relevant person in charge of the research group of Aowei Cloud Network Environmental Appliances said that the main reason for this phenomenon is the change in consumer shopping behavior and the change in the brand's operational thinking. "With the normalization of promotional activities on e-commerce platforms, consumers no longer rely solely on concentrated purchases during big promotions, but place orders at any time during the off-peak period according to actual needs. At the same time, brands have also increased their attention to the off-peak period in operations, thereby promoting the growth of sales during the off-peak period."

Currently, there are relatively few brands of household cooking robots on sale online, maintaining at around 25, and the overall trend is stable with a slight upward trend. Although the number of brands has not changed much, the concentration of the top brands has increased significantly. According to online monitoring data from Aowei Cloud Network, in the first half of this year, the sales of the top two brands in the cooking robot market increased from 51% in the same period last year to 72%.

In terms of price, the price of high-end cooking robots has "dissuaded" many consumers, and mid- and low-end products are obviously more popular. Since there are relatively few brands and products of cooking robots on the market and the concentration is very high, the decline in average price is more obviously affected by the leading brands. Since the beginning of this year, the decline in the average price of the industry is mainly due to the continued increase in the market share of brands such as Tineco and Supor, which have relatively lower customer unit prices, and the dilution of the market share of some leading brands of machines with a sales price of 10,000 yuan. In terms of price segments, the 4,000-5,000 yuan price segment is the largest price segment, accounting for 31% of sales; the 1,000-2,000 yuan price segment is second, accounting for 28% of sales. In addition, the market share of the 5,000-10,000 yuan and above 10,000 yuan price segments has shrunk significantly.

Judging from the development trend, the relevant person in charge of the AVIC Cloud Network Environmental Appliance Research Group believes that intelligent upgrading, multi-functional integration, and human-computer interaction optimization are still the general trend.

Specifically, in terms of intelligent upgrades, some cooking robots are already able to automatically feed and clean. In the future, with the further development of technology, cooking robots are expected to be able to automatically identify the type and weight of ingredients, recommend cooking plans, and automatically adjust the amount of oil and salt in the recipe and the cooking method according to the user's health needs and taste preferences, providing users with healthier and more delicious meals.

In terms of multi-functional integration, the product integrates multiple cooking methods, such as steaming, baking, stewing, etc., rather than being limited to a single cooking function. In the future, there will be more and more cooking methods that can be integrated, and users only need one device to complete the preparation of multiple dishes.

In terms of human-machine interaction optimization, more and more cooking robot products have mobile phone APP control functions, and users can set cooking parameters, select cloud recipes and start cooking through mobile phone APP. This function may be further optimized in the future, such as with remote control function, so that users can start the cooking program in advance through APP on the way home and enjoy the food when they get home.

Despite this, consumers' awareness of cooking robots is still at a low level, and the current market size is still small. According to the forecast data of Aowei Cloud Network, this year, the online market sales of cooking robots will reach 290 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 33.9%; the sales volume will reach 140,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 54.4%. In general, the cooking robot market has broad prospects, but there are still many challenges to overcome.
