The newly built Ruimei Railway is a key project of the country's "14th Five-Year Plan". It starts from Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province, the "Cradle of the Republic" in the north, and goes south through Huichang County and Anyuan County of Ganzhou City to Xunwu County, and passes through Pingyuan County and Meijiang District of Meizhou City, Guangdong Province. It connects to Meizhou Station of Zhangping to Longchuan Railway. The main line is 240.3 kilometers long with a designed speed of 160 kilometers per hour. It is a national Class I single-track electrified passenger and freight railway with a construction period of 4.5 years. It is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2027.
The Wuyang beam manufacturing yard of China Railway No. 5 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. is the only beam manufacturing yard in the Jiangxi section of the Ruimei Railway. The beam manufacturing yard is located in Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province, covering an area of ​​170 mu. The designed beam manufacturing capacity is 60 holes per month, and the beam storage capacity is 146 holes. It undertakes the task of prefabrication of 934 T beams in the Jiangxi section of the Ruimei Railway. Since the preparation and construction of the Wuyang beam manufacturing yard, the Ruimei Railway Construction Command of the National Railway Nanchang Bureau Group has organized the construction unit China Railway No. 5 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. to scientifically optimize the construction plan, aiming to build a smart beam yard. By introducing advanced tooling and processes such as automated steel bar processing and production equipment, intelligent tensioning and grouting trolleys, and automatic maintenance spraying systems, the prefabrication goal of the first hole T beam is ensured, which provides the prerequisite for the subsequent smooth passing of T beam certification and mass production.
After the completion of the Ruimei Railway, the road network structure in southern Jiangxi and northeastern Guangdong will be further improved, the transportation links between the old revolutionary areas and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and between eastern Guangdong and the central region will be strengthened, and travel for people along the line will be facilitated. At the same time, it will also end the history of Xunwu and Anyuan counties in Jiangxi Province without railways.
