In fact, Tesla is not the only company that wants to provide auto insurance. Many car companies have already made plans.
There are two models here. One is to directly do insurance by yourself, a typical example is BYD, which acquires other companies and then obtains the license for the auto insurance business step by step.
This requires a large capital investment and is difficult to apply for a license, so generally only large and powerful car companies can afford it.
