The report pointed out that drivers who subjectively believe that they are highly or very highly dependent on the platform account for 57.18% of all surveyed drivers, more than half of the total.

The report mentioned that 49.88% of drivers believed that if they did not use digital freight platforms, their income would be reduced by more than 1,000 yuan.

According to the survey results of the report, the age of truck drivers is mainly concentrated between 30 and 49 years old, accounting for 79.89% of the total number. Among the truck driver group, men account for a higher proportion, but thanks to the rise of digital freight platforms in recent years, the proportion of female drivers with 2 years of experience or less has increased significantly compared with the past, from 0.97% to 2.63%.

In terms of the education level of truck drivers, this group has also undergone great changes in the past two years. In the past two years, the proportion of drivers with college and bachelor's degrees or above has increased from 10.14% of the overall sample to 19.85%.
