on september 25, daxing airport celebrated its fifth anniversary of operation. in the past five years, daxing airport has achieved many impressive statistics.

wang yaqi, general manager of the aviation business department of beijing daxing international airport, introduced that in the five years since its operation, 65 chinese and foreign airlines have settled in daxing airport, serving more than 127 million passengers and more than 980,000 flights. at present, daxing airport's passenger airlines are flying 216 routes, covering 197 domestic and international destinations, connecting to 25 countries in europe and asia. among them, there are 43 international and regional destinations, and the cumulative number of international and regional passengers has exceeded 3.1 million.

focusing on 2024, wang yaqi also disclosed a data. during this year's summer travel season, the maximum daily passenger volume at daxing airport was nearly 180,000, a record high since its launch.
