wang yaqi, general manager of the aviation business department of beijing daxing international airport, introduced that in the five years since its operation, 65 chinese and foreign airlines have settled in daxing airport, serving more than 127 million passengers and more than 980,000 flights. at present, daxing airport's passenger airlines are flying 216 routes, covering 197 domestic and international destinations, connecting to 25 countries in europe and asia. among them, there are 43 international and regional destinations, and the cumulative number of international and regional passengers has exceeded 3.1 million.

focusing on 2024, wang yaqi also disclosed a data. during this year's summer travel season, the maximum daily passenger volume at daxing airport was nearly 180,000, a record high since its launch.

liu chunchen said that in the first eight months of this year, the passenger volume of the eight airports in beijing, tianjin and hebei managed by capital airport group has exceeded 100 million, an increase of 8% over 2019. in the ten years since the implementation of the beijing-tianjin-hebei coordinated development strategy, the infrastructure scale, comprehensive support capabilities and aviation service level of the beijing-tianjin-hebei airport cluster have entered the forefront of the world, playing an important role in supporting the core functions of the capital, serving the construction of xiongan new area and promoting the coordinated development of beijing-tianjin-hebei.
