Netcom New Car On August 22, the new 212 was officially launched. The new car has three models with a price range of 139,900-172,900 yuan. As the first model of the new brand 212 of Beijing Automobile Manufacturing Plant, the new car adopts a square and tough exterior design language and a non-load-bearing body structure. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 2.0T gasoline engine, matched with an 8AT automatic transmission, and has a part-time four-wheel drive system.

In terms of appearance, the new 212 continues the classic retro design elements, and the overall square shape is very tough. The front face, the round headlight group shape with the three horizontal grille, is highly recognizable. The protruding front bumper is very consistent with the current hardcore off-road style. It is worth mentioning that next to the engine cover, the new car also retains the classic "air defense lamp", in terms of function, in addition to the lighting function, it also integrates functions such as cameras.

The new car has a tough side design, with a straight and raised waistline running from the front to the rear. The square windows, traditional door handles and protruding wheel eyebrows highlight its hard-core off-road attributes. The rear of the new 212 also adopts a relatively square design, and the vertically arranged taillights on both sides are highly recognizable with the external spare tire. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the car are 4705/1895/1936mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2860mm.

In terms of interior, the new car also adopts a relatively hard-line design style, and the large-size floating central control screen adds a sense of technology. In addition, the new car also retains a large number of physical buttons in the central control, including the air conditioning control area and off-road function control, which is convenient for the driver to operate.

In terms of power, the new 212 is equipped with a 2.0T gasoline engine with a maximum power of 185kW and a maximum torque of 410N·m. It is matched with an 8AT automatic transmission and a part-time four-wheel drive system, which supports low-speed four-wheel drive, high-speed four-wheel drive and two-wheel drive modes. It is worth mentioning that the new car is also equipped with front and rear electronically controlled limited-slip differential locks.

In terms of chassis, the new 212 is developed based on the all-terrain chassis architecture - WY platform, adopting a non-load-bearing body and front and rear five-link integral bridge suspension. In terms of off-road capability, after switching to 4H mode, the front and rear can constantly distribute the driving force 50:50, and the 4L mode can amplify the torque by 2.5 times. At the same time, it also has a 40° approach angle, a 36° departure angle, a minimum ground clearance of 235mm, a longitudinal passing angle of 23.6°, and a maximum wading depth of 850mm.
