Recently, the salaries in the financial industry have attracted widespread attention from all walks of life. The futures industry is one of the important sub-industries of the financial industry, and the salaries of its managers are not well known to the public.
Under the background of salary cuts in the financial industry, what is the trend of futures industry managerial remuneration? Recently, a reporter from the National Business Daily conducted a detailed review of the salary changes of key managers of four A-share listed futures companies and 13 NEEQ listed futures companies in recent years.
Among these 13 futures companies listed on the New Third Board, nine futures companies disclosed the remuneration of key management personnel in their annual financial reports, namely Haitong Futures, Zijin Tianfeng, Chuangyuan Futures, Maike Futures, Jinyuan Futures, Funeng Futures, Chaos Tiancheng, HNA Futures and Hualong Futures; four futures companies did not disclose the remuneration of key management personnel, namely Dayue Futures, Xianrong Futures, Bohai Futures and Changjiang Futures.
Together with the 4 A-share futures companies, there are 13 futures companies that have disclosed the remuneration of key management personnel, including 4 AA-rated futures companies, 3 A-rated futures companies, 3 BBB-rated futures companies, 2 BB-rated futures companies and 1 B-rated futures company. Therefore, it has a certain degree of industry representativeness.
After sorting out, the reporter found that the salaries of key managers of the above 13 futures companies showed some thought-provoking aspects:The total remuneration of key managers of most futures companies is on a downward trend. For example, the total remuneration of key managers of Haitong Futures has dropped from RMB 20,040,800 in 2022 to RMB 6,389,700 in 2023, a decrease of 68%. In the three dimensions of listed/unlisted companies, different ratings, and different profit levels of companies, the total remuneration of key managers shows a large gap. What are the reasons for the decline in the total salary of futures company managers? What is the core reason for the obvious gap with the securities industry? What challenges do futures companies face in increasing their revenue? In this regard, the reporter interviewed many industry insiders to gain an in-depth understanding.
