Red Star News learned that the owner of the Koenigsegg is known online as "Shatlon". On the evening of August 11, a friend of Shatlon, a blogger named "Haipai Dashu", told Red Star News that the online rumors were untrue.

The Shanghai uncle said that the accident happened on the night of August 10, the Chinese Valentine's Day. Shatlon was driving normally when he went to have coffee with his brother and was hit by a woman. "After the car was hit, he left it to his assistant to deal with it and he left. The damage assessment result has not been released yet, and he will not make it too difficult for the owner."

Because the lady's bicycle was expensive and she had to go to the store to assess the damage, she decided to call the police. After receiving the call, the traffic police arrived at the scene in time, coordinated the matter, and gave safety education to both parties.

The reporter randomly interviewed several cyclists on the East Lake Greenway. One of the young people said that as long as they pay attention to safety, it will be fine. Moreover, since the road is so spacious, it would be a "waste" if they don't ride faster. When the reporter mentioned the speed limit, he thought that the speed limit of 10 kilometers per hour was not appropriate for sections with low traffic.

The relevant person in charge said that the greenway is a public activity venue, and many people ride and walk on it. The greenway was built with cycling needs in mind, and most of the roads are built according to professional bicycle lane standards, with 6-meter-wide roads and appropriate curves, which are also suitable for professional cycling training.

At the same time, in response to the relevant issues and demands raised by the citizens, the East Lake Scenic Area responded on the Wuhan City Message Board: In response to the problem of racing bicycles, speed reduction buffer zones have been set up at each entrance of the East Lake Greenway, and professional road speed reduction bumps have been added to some important checkpoints; checkpoint security is required to limit speed, encourage civilized riding and other reminders before racing bicycles enter the greenway.

The East Lake Greenway Command Center broadcasts bicycle speed limit regulations in a targeted loop at specific times to remind cyclists to slow down and ride in a civilized manner. The special service team conducts targeted inspections of major roads every day, and will dissuade cyclists from speeding and engaging in uncivilized behavior, and will call the police for those who refuse to heed the advice.
