Recently, a Buick car collided with a Koenigsegg super sports car in Ningbo, Zhejiang, which attracted widespread attention.
Subsequently, there was news on the Internet that the Koenigsegg that was hit was "Satellite's car, worth 47 million yuan", "the final damage was assessed at 4.06 million yuan, the insurance company paid 3 million yuan, the female Buick owner paid 1.06 million yuan, and the car was shipped back to Sweden for repair."
The screenshot circulated online shows that the "final estimated damage to the vehicle that was hit was 4.06 million yuan"
Red Star News learned that the owner of the Koenigsegg is known online as "Shatlon". On the evening of August 11, a friend of Shatlon, a blogger named "Haipai Dashu", told Red Star News that the online rumors were untrue.
The Shanghai uncle said that the accident happened on the night of August 10, the Chinese Valentine's Day. Shatlon was driving normally when he went to have coffee with his brother and was hit by a woman. "After the car was hit, he left it to his assistant to deal with it and he left. The damage assessment result has not been released yet, and he will not make it too difficult for the owner."
A road traffic accident identification certificate issued by the Haishu Brigade of the Traffic Police Bureau of the Ningbo Public Security Bureau on August 10 and obtained by Red Star News shows that the accident occurred on Yaohang Street, Haishu District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. The Buick was fully responsible for failing to give way as required, and the Koenigsegg was not responsible.

On the evening of the 11th, after meeting with the Shanghai uncle, Shatlon filmed a rumor-refuting video, which the latter posted on social media. In the video, Shatlon said that the rumors on the Internet, such as the car price of 47 million yuan, the estimated damage of more than 4 million yuan, and the other car owner paid more than 1 million yuan out of his own pocket, were "all false."
Sartorius also said in the video, "Domestic car repair technology is very mature, there is no need to go to Sweden for repair. The Internet says that this car is very expensive, but in fact it is not very expensive. It is just a small scratch accident, not as exaggerated as the Internet says."
"He is a low-key person and thinks the incident itself is relatively minor. But the online incident became too serious, so he responded to the incident through me." The Shanghai-style uncle told Red Star News, "It usually takes several days to assess the damage of a car. This car is more complicated, so it will take longer to assess the damage."

In July, a bicycle collision occurred on the East Lake Greenway in Wuhan. One of the owners claimed that his bicycle was worth 100,000 yuan. The incident involved compensation and the safety of riding on the greenway, which attracted much attention.
On July 9, Jiupai News learned from an eyewitness, Mr. Zhang, that at around 9 p.m. on the 7th, a little boy riding a shared bicycle collided with a woman's racing bicycle in the opposite direction on the East Lake Greenway, causing minor scratches on both sides. The woman later called the police considering that the bicycle was expensive at 100,000 yuan and was damaged.

In this regard, the police officer who handled the incident from the Traffic Brigade of the East Lake Ecological Tourism Scenic Area Branch of the Wuhan Public Security Bureau told reporters that in their daily work, they deal with many similar accidents, and they hope that everyone will control their speed and pay attention to safety. Parents should supervise their children properly, and citizens riding racing bicycles should try to ride in areas with fewer people.
【1】Witness: Both parties were riding at a low speed. The woman said, “I’m fine, the bikes are expensive.”
Mr. Zhang told reporters that at that time, the greenway's broadcast kept reminding everyone that "cycling speed must be less than 10 kilometers per hour." There were many citizens walking, running, and cycling on the greenway, so both sides were not riding very fast.
But at the bend, the two were coming head-on. When the woman on the bicycle was about to hit the child, she slowed down, braked suddenly, turned the front of the bicycle, and fell down with the bicycle. The child did not have time to brake and stop, and the front of the two bicycles collided.
"Both were injured, but nothing serious. The child only had minor skin injuries on his arm, and it looked like the lady's abrasions were more serious," Mr Zhang added.

According to her, after the incident, the lady anxiously searched for bicycle parts in the grass beside the greenway. She had a gentle attitude and did not immediately claim compensation from the parents.

She said, "This injury is nothing, but the bike is expensive, I bought it for 100,000 yuan, I need to go to the store to check it out." At the same time, the guardian of the child who rode the shared bike said, "The child was also injured," but the child said frankly, "It doesn't hurt."
Because the lady's bicycle was expensive and she had to go to the store to assess the damage, she decided to call the police. After receiving the call, the traffic police arrived at the scene in time, coordinated the matter, and gave safety education to both parties.
[2] Traffic Police: Donghu Greenway is a mixed traffic section within the closed park. Parents should accompany and supervise their children when they ride. It is not recommended to ride racing bicycles in areas with heavy traffic.
On the afternoon of the 9th, in response to this matter, the reporter contacted the Traffic Brigade of the East Lake Ecological Tourism Scenic Area Branch of the Wuhan Municipal Public Security Bureau. The police officer handling the matter said that relevant regulations mentioned that children under the age of 12 cannot ride bicycles or tricycles on the road alone.
It is hoped that children will be accompanied and supervised by adults when they are riding, and that they are not allowed to chase or fight, and the speed should be reduced as much as possible.
In addition, the police officer reminded that the East Lake Greenway is a mixed-traffic section within a closed park, and it is not recommended for racing bicycles to ride on the greenway with heavy traffic. You can choose areas with fewer people or special bicycle tracks for riding.

"Judging from the number of calls we receive, similar incidents account for a large proportion, so we really hope that everyone can pay attention to safety issues in this area," the police officer emphasized.
"Donghu Lake has beautiful scenery, so many citizens come here. Children of several years old and teenagers all ride their bicycles in twists and turns, which poses a safety hazard. Racing bicycles are equipped with carbon fiber components and so on, and the prices of the bicycles are probably not cheap." Mr. Zhang, who witnessed the whole incident, believes that parents should supervise their children. Children who ride bicycles in twists and turns are unsafe for themselves and others. Ladies who ride racing bicycles also need to be careful and try to avoid crowded places.
【3】Cyclists: The speed limit of 10 km/h is not appropriate
As the police officer mentioned above, similar bicycle collisions are not uncommon. It can be seen that on the East Lake Greenway, there are many people who choose to ride bicycles, and pedestrians and bicycles are often mixed. The safety issues here cannot be ignored.
According to the Yangtze River Daily, in June, a citizen, Mr. An, left a message on the Wuhan City Message Board: Some cyclists do not slow down at turns. I once encountered a person riding at high speed and hit a person riding a shared bicycle.
"Cycling has become popular recently, and many people are racing on the East Lake Greenway." Mr. Luo, a citizen, likes to go to the East Island after dinner. He reported that there are often cycling groups whizzing past on their bikes, posing a hidden danger to the safety of pedestrians.
So, what is the actual cycling situation on the East Lake Greenway?

When the reporter was riding on the country roads, he observed that some professional cyclists were mainly riding for leisure and relaxation, and their speed was similar to that of the shared bicycle riders; there were also cycling groups that "whoosh" past them at speeds far exceeding 10 kilometers per hour.
The reporter randomly interviewed several cyclists on the East Lake Greenway. One of the young people said that as long as they pay attention to safety, it will be fine. Moreover, since the road is so spacious, it would be a "waste" if they don't ride faster. When the reporter mentioned the speed limit, he thought that the speed limit of 10 kilometers per hour was not appropriate for sections with low traffic.

It is worth mentioning that a search on social platforms also shows that many pictures shared by cyclists show that their average speed exceeds 30 kilometers per hour.
In response to the above situation, on June 7, a reporter from the Yangtze River Daily went to the Wuhan East Lake Ecological Tourism Scenic Area Management Committee to inquire whether they had considered banning racing bicycles from entering the greenway.
The relevant person in charge said that the greenway is a public activity venue, and many people ride and walk on it. The greenway was built with cycling needs in mind, and most of the roads are built according to professional bicycle lane standards, with 6-meter-wide roads and appropriate curves, which are also suitable for professional cycling training.
At the same time, in response to the relevant issues and demands raised by the citizens, the East Lake Scenic Area responded on the Wuhan City Message Board: In response to the problem of racing bicycles, speed reduction buffer zones have been set up at each entrance of the East Lake Greenway, and professional road speed reduction bumps have been added to some important checkpoints; checkpoint security is required to limit speed, encourage civilized riding and other reminders before racing bicycles enter the greenway.
The East Lake Greenway Command Center broadcasts bicycle speed limit regulations in a targeted loop at specific times to remind cyclists to slow down and ride in a civilized manner. The special service team conducts targeted inspections of major roads every day, and will dissuade cyclists from speeding and engaging in uncivilized behavior, and will call the police for those who refuse to heed the advice.
