Hello everyone, this is Zhengjing Game, I am your little brother who loves to play new games.

Recently, the dungeon-connected PVPVE action-adventure game "Dungeonborne" developed by Mithril Interactive has just completed a new round of testing. As soon as the game test started, it received a lot of praise from players.

Since the game is so addictive, the anchors and players went crazy during the test. What is the fun of this game? Let me take you to take a look in advance.

The main mode in "Dungeonborne" is a Tarkov-like gameplay of running circles and retreating. In the game, players can form a team of up to three people to search for treasures in the dungeon maze. During the game, they will encounter various traps, elite monsters and attacks from other teams.

In the game, players can choose from professions such as warrior, mage, priest, magic swordsman, thief, lich, etc. Each profession is equipped with unique skills. For example, the priest can restore health of the entire team, the thief can be invisible and cut the back row, and the warrior can use the charge skill to cause a lot of damage to close units.

Due to the differences in skills between professions, players can control the direction of team battles through skill combinations between various teams in PVP battles. For example, after the mage occupies the high ground, he will first bomb the warrior and then charge into the field to interrupt the enemy's response. Players who are familiar with MOBA or MMO gameplay will surely be more comfortable controlling team battles.

However, the balance between the various professions in the current version of Dungeonborne is not very good. For example, in the current version, I feel that the mage is like a hexagonal profession, which not only has a large-scale, high-damage AOE skill, but also has a fire ring skill that can push away close enemies. The team that is attacked by the mage basically has no choice but to run away.

Compared to the mage, the rogue in Dungeonborne is at the other extreme. Although the rogue has high burst damage and stealth skills in the game, the rogue is too fragile and can be killed by unknown AOE in a team battle if you are not careful. It is not as resistant as a goblin.

Although some professions are stronger, team games still need to be based on cooperation. According to my research, although the mage is invincible in 1v1 battles, it is not invincible in 3v3 team battles.

For example, in a skirmish, a mage will usually stand further back. At this time, the front-row teammates only need to use potions to create an earth wall to divide the battlefield. The team can then ignore the mage and deal with his teammates first.

↑Or just give the mage a slow ball↑

Of course, all of my PVP tactics mentioned above are based on sufficient props. Although there is a complete exchange mode in the game, for new players who have just entered the game, I still suggest that you pick up garbage for a while, otherwise you may not even be able to afford medicine.

As a Tarkov-like game, the output of rare equipment in Dungeonborne mainly depends on elite monsters and bosses. Facing ordinary monsters and elite monsters, a three-person team can easily solve them with a little cooperation.

As for BOSS-level monsters, players must add enough BUFFs in advance and ensure the positioning of each profession in the team before they can start to fight the monsters. Looking at this scene, I seemed to have a sense of déjà vu of opening up an MMO copy.

For powerful bosses, in addition to attracting hatred and sharing damage, players also need to deal with various mechanisms of the boss in real time. For example, the boss Wendigo will frequently move and use large-scale AOE skills. Players need to dodge the boss's attacks while constantly smashing the statues that restore the boss's health, otherwise the boss's health will only increase.

After looking at this series of gameplay, I feel that "Dungeonborne" is quite similar to the Korean game "Dark and Darker" which was very popular some time ago.

However, compared to the more hardcore "Dark and Darker", "Dungeonborne" has removed the complex damage mechanism for body parts. In the game, except for hitting the head, the damage to other parts of the body is the same, which lowers the threshold for players to get started.

In addition, there are some heirloom weapons in the game. Regardless of weapons or equipment, they can be obtained by praying at the statue. Even novices who cannot defeat elite monsters can find opportunities to quickly obtain gold equipment to transition to the early stage.

Since players will lose all their equipment upon death in the search and evacuation mode, in order to prevent players' high-level equipment from gathering dust in the warehouse, the official has thoughtfully added a 3V3 fair arena mode to the game. In this mode, players can make full use of the high-level weapons they have obtained, and they will not lose any equipment upon death.

Finally, I will tell you:According to the official announcement of "Dungeonborne" recently, the game is currently scheduled to be released on Steam on July 19. Although it is only the EA version, I feel that the game is already very complete. Interested players can definitely get a team together and wait for the release.

A surprising question:Do you think Dungeonborne will be a hit after its release?
