the main tasks of gradually delaying the statutory retirement age are three-fold.

third, it helps meet the diverse needs of workers in their work and life arrangements.with the continuous improvement of living standards and working conditions, workers have different demands on the time of retirement and hope for more flexibility and choices. it is necessary to make corresponding adjustments to the current retirement age policy.
adjusting the statutory retirement age is a gradual process
wang xiaoping said,from 2025 to 2039, it will take 15 years to adjust the statutory retirement age to 63 for male employees and 58 or 55 for female employees. this is a gradual process.
