The three insurance companies with the lowest total scores were: Fujian Branch of Zhongcheng Automobile Insurance Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhongcheng Auto Insurance) with 69.62 points, Fujian Branch of Changan Liability Insurance Co., Ltd. with 71.10 points, and Fujian Branch of Sunshine Property Insurance Co., Ltd. with 71.34 points.
In order to provide a reference for consumers to purchase auto insurance services and to promote insurance companies to improve the quality of claims services, Fujian Province has continued to conduct quarterly assessments of the quality of auto insurance claims services and disclosed them to the public, making the assessment work normalized, regularized and public. According to the results of the second quarter assessment, the average score of 24 property insurance companies reached 80.37 points, which was higher than the average score of the first quarter (79.47 points), and the quality of claims services has improved slightly.
Judging from the evaluation results, there are relatively few companies with high scores and companies with low scores. In the evaluation of the first two quarters of this year, most insurance companies scored between 70 and 80 points, and insurance companies with high and low total scores were individual. In the first and second quarters, there was only one insurance company with a score of more than 90 points, which was the Fujian Branch of Yongcheng Property and Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd., with scores of 97.92 and 95.23 respectively; there was only one insurance company with a score below 70 points (excluding 70 points), which was Zhongcheng Auto Insurance, with scores of 67.99 and 69.62 respectively, ranking last in the total score of the claims service quality evaluation for two consecutive quarters.
It is also understood that Zhongcheng Auto Insurance was fined 130,000 yuan by the Fujian Regulatory Bureau of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission on April 27 due to illegal and irregular facts of financial falsehood; the relevant person in charge, Zhong Zhiwen, was warned and fined 20,000 yuan.
