Recently, the "People's Livelihood Micro-Projects" project of Matan Street, Guangming District, Shenzhen, the "Cantonese Cultural Heritage on the Tip of the Tongue" activity of Fuyu Matan was officially launched at Shenzhen Zhili Technical School.
This activity mainly carries out the skill training of Chinese pastry making, and the course adopts the method of theoretical learning + practical operation. The instructor first explains the key points of the theory, and then through practical demonstration, the trainees can master the basic professional knowledge and professional skills required for Chinese pastry making during the training process.
Under the guidance of the teacher, the students practiced and experienced the complete process of Chinese pastry making. The teacher gave detailed comments on each student's work, affirming the students' efforts and achievements, and also pointed out areas that need improvement.
The training course has a total of 5 days, all held on weekends. The course content covers the basics and full process of Chinese pastry making of 16 varieties such as steamed buns, dumplings, and fried dough sticks, and a skills competition will be held on the last day of the event. After the training, the organizer will also organize the trainees to participate in professional competence certification to enhance their employment competitiveness.
A relevant person in charge of the Public Service Office of Matan Subdistrict said that the purpose of this training is to drive employment of residents through skills training, enable residents to master a skill, improve the skills level of workers, broaden employment channels, achieve effective connection from training to employment and entrepreneurship, and realize high-quality full employment.
