Guangzhou, August 14 (Reporter Cai Minjie) TS BANGKOK, a ship under TS Lines, berthed at Guangzhou Nansha Phase III Terminal and departed for Long Beach, the United States at 6:00 on the 14th, marking the opening of TS Lines' US West Coast service in Guangzhou Nansha. AWC2 is the first North American route launched by TS Lines in Nansha, opening up a convenient channel to the US West Coast for foreign trade import and export companies in South China.

It is understood that the ship loaded about 300 containers of refrigerators, LCD screens, air conditioners and other goods in Nansha. After leaving the country, the goods will be shipped to Long Beach, USA. In the future, the number of flights will increase to one per week depending on the order demand. "The main advantage of our route is the short voyage and high transportation efficiency. It only takes 14 to 16 days from Guangzhou Nansha to Long Beach, USA. This puts higher requirements on customs clearance efficiency." said Wang Shuxiang, the captain of the ship.

After receiving the report, the third duty team of Nansha Border Inspection Station focused on optimizing the duty arrangements according to the needs of the ship, increased the number of police officers on duty at night, and coordinated with the ship, the terminal and the agency company to launch drones to track and check before the ship berthed, and implemented "online processing" for the border inspection procedures of the ship to achieve "non-contact inspection", ensuring "zero waiting" for ships to arrive at the port, "zero running around" for the agents, and "zero delay" for leaving the port, helping Nansha shipping to highlight the convenient distribution function and ocean shipping advantages.

"This is the only West Coast US route that our company currently represents, and the operating time is very tight. For shipping companies, efficiency is one of the important factors they consider when deciding whether to invest in the route. Currently, TS Lines has a total of 10 fixed routes in Nansha, enjoying the benefits of the shipping policies of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area." said Liu Wei, deputy manager of the shipping department of Guangzhou Port Zhonglian International Shipping Agency Co., Ltd.

In recent years, the container throughput of Nansha Port has continued to rise, and sea-rail transport, large logistics warehouses, Asia's largest port-side cold storage group, and automated terminals have been put into use one after another. According to reports, in August this year, Guangzhou Port and the United States Long Beach Port officially signed a friendly port cooperation agreement and became friendly ports. The number of friendly ports of Guangzhou Port has reached 60, ranking first in the country. Sun Xiuqing, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Guangzhou Port Authority, said that Long Beach Port and Guangzhou Port are important trading partners of each other. The two sides have frequent trade in home appliances, hardware, wood, chemicals and other goods. It is hoped that the two sides will further strengthen international trade exchanges, promote regional cooperation, and smooth the channels for Sino-US trade exchanges. (End)
