"Traditional ideological and political classes focus more on theoretical teaching, but not enough on students' in-depth understanding and practical application of knowledge. In addition, middle school students lack experience and experience of social life, which leads to their lack of internal motivation to internalize classroom knowledge into self-growth needs." Yang Fengrui, principal of Chongqing No. 68 Middle School, introduced that adhering to the educational concept of "small ideological and political in the classroom and big practice in society", the two schools carefully planned and carried out the "Walking Ideological and Political Classroom" social practice project, aiming to stimulate students' internal learning motivation through a series of innovative summer Chinese and foreign humanities practice activities.
It is understood that in the "Walking Ideological and Political Classroom" social practice project, nearly 20 members of the "Plain Language into People's Hearts" practice group of the School of Foreign Languages of Chongqing University used "Li Hua's Global Tour" as the main story line and innovatively designed interactive activities such as foreign language dubbing, drama rehearsal and Model United Nations, guiding 100 third-year junior high school students from Chongqing No. 68 Middle School to deeply study Chinese historical and cultural knowledge, exercise language expression ability and creativity, and enhance their understanding and respect for the cultures of different countries, becoming organizers and active participants in the classroom.
During this process, the practice group also opened compulsory courses such as "Telling China's Stories Well" and elective courses such as "Debate with Scholars", "Courtesy and Food", "Joyful Drama Class", "Good Luck Talk", and "Endless Sounds", so that middle school students can experience the art of cross-border cultural communication in practice and demonstrate the diversity and charm of language.

Zhou Lu, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Foreign Languages of Chongqing University, introduced that the "walking ideological and political classroom" will be carried out for a long time. In the future, an online platform will be developed to use digital technology to provide flexible ideological and political education courses, so that students at different stages of education can participate in learning anytime and anywhere.
In addition, the two schools will regularly hold theme lectures, seminars, social practice and other activities to encourage college and high school students to combine classroom learning with social reality, enhance their social practice ability, and put their learning into practice.
