According to the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, this year, 30 enterprises in the province carried out the evaluation and appointment of the first batch of chief technicians and special technicians in 2024. Based on the independent evaluation of enterprises, recommendations from prefectures and cities, data review, and public announcement, five comrades including Ke Gao were identified as chief technicians, and 68 comrades including Du Xiaobo were identified as special technicians.
The reporter saw that the five chief technicians who were awarded this time were mainly from energy companies and manufacturing companies, and their occupations included welders, electricians, residual oil heat processing workers, wind turbine manufacturers, etc.
According to the requirements, enterprises should sign employment agreements with personnel who have passed the evaluation of chief technicians or special technicians, and set up work platforms such as skill master studios to provide conditions for them to carry out technical skill innovation, process improvement, and solve major technical problems. Personnel employed in the position of special technicians can enjoy relevant benefits in accordance with the senior professional title personnel of the enterprise. The salary and benefits of chief technicians can be determined by referring to the standards of senior management personnel of the unit or according to actual conditions, and shall not be lower than the salary and benefits of special technicians.
