compared with 290,000 at the end of 2021, byd's total number of employees has increased by 200% in four years. today, byd is not only the company with the largest number of employees among more than 5,300 a-share listed companies, but also the automaker with the largest number of employees in the world, and has become a veritable "international giant".
according to data disclosed in byd's annual report, byd's r&d personnel will exceed 100,000 as early as 2023, surpassing toyota and tesla to rank first in the industry. the proportion of r&d personnel will increase from 27.3% in 2022 to 29.3% in 2023; among them, the number of masters will increase by 202.87% year-on-year to 23,706, and the number of doctors will increase by 168.98% year-on-year to 1,587; the number of r&d personnel under the age of 40 will account for about 95%.

while promoting employment of the labor force, byd attaches great importance to the training of recent graduates and has formed a complete talent training mechanism internally.
