an official from hanwha marine said that this is the first time that a korean shipyard has implemented an mro project for a us navy ship. they will ensure the reputation of "k-defense" (originally written as k-방산/k-defense, which is a unified external brand for the korean government to promote korean defense products by integrating various arms companies) based on the relevant technical strength of "the world's highest level of mro" and on-time delivery. in addition, hanwha marine is currently preparing to provide similar maintenance, repair and modification and upgrading services for ship products built at the factory and exported to southeast asia such as indonesia and thailand.
