1. test equipment and process

in order to simulate the real usage environment, we used apple iphone 13 pro and huawei p50 pro as fixed test machines. during the test, the two mobile phones were first drained of power, and then placed on the car wireless charging pad for 15 minutes to test their charging efficiency. after charging, an infrared thermometer was used to measure the back of the two mobile phones to test the heat generation of the body.

2. test results analysis

1. charging capacity comparison

after actual testing, ideal l6, cadillac iq, lynk & co 07 em-p, dongfeng yipai eπ007, xingtu xingjiyuan et and zhiji l6 all support apple's fast charging protocol, so the test results are satisfactory. the charging capacity within 15 minutes reaches or exceeds 10%, and the highest reaches 16%. in contrast, deep blue g318, bmw i5, wenjiexin m7 ultra and mercedes-benz cle coupe are not very friendly to apple iphone 13 pro, and the charging capacity does not exceed 10%. among them, the charging capacity of bmw i5 ranks last, only 5%.

in the test of huawei p50 pro, 6 models supported huawei's fast charging protocol. among them, dongfeng yipai eπ007 performed best, with a charging capacity of 24%. the test results of ideal l6 and zhiji l6 were also significantly higher than other test models, with charging capacities of 18% and 22% respectively. in contrast, cadillac iq, bmw i5 and mercedes-benz cle coupe do not support huawei's fast charging protocol, so their test scores were tied for the bottom, with charging capacities of 5%.

in general, dongfeng yipai eπ007 and zhiji l6, which support both apple and huawei fast charging protocols, performed well in this test, especially in the charging test of huawei mobile phones, with charging capacity reaching 24% and 22% respectively, which is an outstanding performance. in contrast, the two imported models participating in this comparison did not perform well. the bmw i5 and mercedes-benz cle coupe were not very friendly to either the apple iphone 13 pro or the huawei p50 pro, with test scores in the single digit and low charging efficiency.

2. comparison of mobile phone heat generation

in terms of body heat generation, when charging the apple iphone 13 pro, the temperature difference of three models exceeded 10 degrees celsius, namely lynk & co 07 em-p, xingtu xingjiyuan et and zhiji l6. among them, the temperature difference before and after charging of zhiji l6 reached 13.9 degrees celsius, which was already noticeably hot. it is worth mentioning that the bmw i5 has excellent temperature control when charging, and the temperature difference before and after charging the phone is only 0.6 degrees celsius.

when charging the huawei p50 pro, the temperature difference of two models exceeded 10 degrees celsius, namely dongfeng yipai eπ007 and zhiji l6. among them, dongfeng yipai eπ007 had the largest temperature difference, reaching 18.3 degrees celsius. in contrast, cadillac iq aoge performed best in controlling the temperature difference when testing huawei phones, at only 1.5 degrees celsius.

overall, the bmw i5 performed the best in temperature difference control when charging the apple iphone 13 pro and huawei p50 pro, but its charging efficiency ranked last among all compared models.

3. comparison of wireless charging functions

in the comparison of wireless charging functions, it can be found that 5 out of 10 models support turning off the wireless charging function. among them, ideal l6 supports two ways of turning on and off, voice and touch screen, and performs outstandingly among all the compared models. for models that do not support turning off the wireless charging function, it is not recommended to place the phone on the charging plate for a long time.
