In the early morning of August 16, the last steel beam of the super-large bridge across the Shenzhen-Maoming Railway in the seventh section of the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang Railway Station, which was funded and constructed by the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang Railway Company under Guangdong Railway Investment Group, EPC general contractor of China Railway Design and Construction, and constructed by China Railway 10th Bureau, landed steadily on the 64# portal pier, marking the safe and smooth completion of the lifting task of the heaviest single steel beam on the entire Guangzhou-Zhanjiang Railway. This is also the completion of the construction of the first "window point" of the Class II existing line on the entire line, laying a solid foundation for the vigorous promotion of subsequent control projects such as beam erection and ballastless track construction.
There are three steel beams for the portal piers on the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang Railway, each of which is 30.28 meters long, 27 meters wide and weighs 210 tons. It is the largest steel beam for the portal piers on the entire Guangzhou-Zhanjiang Railway. More than 100 pairs of trains pass through the Shenzhen-Zhanjiang Line every day. The lifting operation of each steel beam needs to be completed within the limited construction skylight at night. This is the first Class II skylight construction on the entire line.
From August 14 to 16, the steel crossbeams of the portal piers of the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang Railway across the Shenzhen-Zhanjiang Line were successfully hoisted after three skylights. The realization of this key control node marks a key breakthrough in the construction of the western Guangdong section of the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang Railway, creating prerequisites for the next step of track laying.
