On August 16, the naming and delivery ceremony of the first wind power operation and maintenance motherships "Zhizhen 100" and "Zhicheng 60" built by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries, commissioned by Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Electric Wind Power"), was held in Qidong, Jiangsu. Both wind power operation and maintenance motherships can perform continuous operation and maintenance in deep and deep sea wind farms.
Asia’s first wind power operation and maintenance mother ships “Zhizhen 100” and “Zhicheng 60” were delivered in Qidong, Jiangsu.
Offshore wind power SOV (Service Operation Vessel, a type of ship used for offshore wind farm operation and maintenance) operation and maintenance mother ship can help alleviate the pain points of China's current mainstream maritime transportation vessels, such as short window period, inability to continue operations, frequent round trips, low efficiency, and poor applicability in severe sea conditions. It provides support for the operation and maintenance of deep-sea projects. It is one of the best solutions to solve the problem of deep-sea transportation and maintenance worldwide, and is also a forward-looking layout for electric wind power to enter the deep sea.
The "Zhizhen 100" has a total length of 93.4 meters, a beam of 18 meters, a depth of 7.6 meters, and a designed service speed of 12.3 knots; the "Zhicheng 60" has a total length of 72.76 meters, a beam of 17.5 meters, a depth of 7 meters, and a designed service speed of 12 knots.
The two ships are equipped with active wave compensation trestles, which can overcome the impact of hull displacement and attitude changes caused by waves, realize efficient transfer of personnel and maintenance spare parts and wind farm maintenance operations under harsh sea conditions, and greatly increase the ship operation and maintenance window period. The active wave compensation trestles are the most critical core equipment for wind power operation and maintenance mother ships. The "Zhicheng 60" ship successfully realized the application of the first retractable trestles with wave compensation function in China, breaking through the "bottleneck" technology. The core technology of this product is the wave compensation control algorithm independently developed by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries.
