"Special" and "Precise" Guangzhou's "100-day, 10 million recruitment campaign" released nearly 60,000 jobs

In June this year, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security announced the implementation of a special campaign of "Hundred Days and Ten Million Recruitment" in 2024, which will use 100 days to provide more than 10 million jobs for college graduates and other groups to help workers find jobs.
As a major employment city, Guangzhou has actively responded to the 2024 Hundred Days and Ten Million Recruitment Special Action. The city and districts have worked together to build a supply and demand matching platform, create new highlights in recruitment, show new styles of activities, and lead and drive high-quality employment throughout the city.
Nearly 60,000 jobs posted
Employment is the foundation of people's livelihood. The sea is wide enough for fish to leap, and the sky is high enough for birds to fly. The fundamental way to promote high-quality and full employment is high-quality development.
Since the launch of the activity on June 7, the human resources and social security departments at the municipal and district levels in Guangzhou have widely collected information on job openings in key enterprises, government investment projects, industrial parks, etc., and have mastered the vacancies in local grassroots service projects, grassroots management and social services, and have released them in a centralized manner. At the same time, human resources service agencies and industry associations have been mobilized to participate extensively, focusing on selecting a number of job information suitable for the educational level and skill level of young people such as college graduates.
As of July 19, human resources service agencies at all levels in Guangzhou held 63 offline job fairs, posted 57,800 jobs, and served 29,700 job seekers; held 19 live-streamed recruitment events, posted 17,800 jobs, 5,952 job seekers registered resumes, and 846 resumes were submitted.
Innovative and distinctive recruitment
Guangzhou focuses on the employment needs of unemployed university graduates and provides them with more diversified and development-oriented job options.
At Guangzhou's "100-Day, 10-Million Recruitment Special Action" and the city and district joint recruitment event for the 100-day campaign to recruit unemployed college graduates, 200 companies participated in the event, covering emerging high-tech industries such as the Internet and artificial intelligence, providing more than 3,000 high-quality jobs, some of which have a monthly salary of more than 10,000 yuan, providing graduates with better development options.
Special service areas such as employment and entrepreneurship policy consultation, AI interview, career guidance, career planning, Bay Area Youth Hostel, provident fund publicity, etc. were also set up on site to provide graduates with job search methods, resume guidance, interview guidance and other special employment services to comprehensively enhance graduates' employment competitiveness. Live broadcasting and posting activities were carried out simultaneously on site, and the "Director of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau Enters the Live Broadcast Room" activity was carried out to "deliver policies, posts and services" to the majority of graduates. At the same time, the human resources and social security departments of Guangzhou and the city are linked to continue to create the "Guangzhou Easy Job Hunting" boutique recruitment brand. For example, in conjunction with the human resources and social security departments of Liwan District, two special recruitment fairs are organized every month to help companies and job seekers accurately match supply and demand; Yuexiu District integrates the Cultural and Art Festival with the Hundred Days and Ten Million Special Recruitment Action, excavating the connotation of traditional culture, showing the diverse core of literature and art, and creating a special recruitment event that is popular with the masses and exciting and down-to-earth.
Among them, the first "Guangzhou Good Job Hunting" brand-featured special recruitment on June 28 brought together more than 30 high-quality companies in industries such as intelligent manufacturing, commercial services, wholesale and retail, transportation, education and training, and provided more than 1,380 jobs. The Yuexiu Culture Special attracted 21 participating companies and more than 700 job seekers to meet on site; the online live broadcast attracted more than 5,000 viewers.
Special recruitment precise positioning
In Guangzhou, in addition to large-scale special recruitment, Guangzhou has refined the recruitment industry and created a number of small and exquisite special recruitment sessions.
For example, multiple departments in Guangzhou worked together to accurately survey the labor demand of the cultural and tourism industry chain. Relying on the art specialty of the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Panyu District, they launched a special recruitment event "on campus" and widely mobilized companies in the music and art, cultural communication, and education and training industries to participate in the event. 24 companies on site provided more than 500 employment and internship positions for recent graduates and current students, effectively broadening employment channels for college graduates and injecting fresh blood into the art industry.
Guangzhou City actively connected with Bomi’s human resources and social security department, established a regular liaison and consultation mechanism, and went to Bomi, Tibet to carry out the Hundred Days and Ten Million Action and a special job fair for employment assistance to Tibet. 18 high-quality companies from Guangzhou City provided more than 750 jobs, attracting nearly 400 job seekers to apply for jobs, fully assisting and ensuring the employment needs of local workers, and promoting the high-quality development of labor cooperation in the "Guangzhou-Bomi" area.
In the next step, Guangzhou city and district human resources and social security departments will continue to launch special recruitment activities for the Hundred Days and Ten Million Special Action, and build an efficient and convenient human resources matching platform for unemployed college graduates and unemployed people.
