On August 12, Alibaba officially launched its autumn campus recruitment for the class of 2025. On the same day, Alibaba Holding Group and its subsidiaries, including Alibaba Cloud, AutoNavi, and Lingxi Interactive Entertainment, simultaneously launched their autumn recruitment.
Chao News reporters learned that the proportion of technical positions in this autumn recruitment continued to increase, and the demand for technical positions in some businesses exceeded 80%.
It is reported that Alibaba's 2025 autumn recruitment is mainly aimed at fresh graduates at home and abroad who will graduate between November 2024 and October 2025. Graduates can apply through Alibaba's recruitment official website, WeChat public account, internal referral and other channels, and each graduate can apply for multiple intended positions at the same time.
The positions open for recruitment this fall include R&D, algorithms, computing, marketing, operations, design, etc. These positions are located in more than 20 cities around the world. In addition to Alibaba Holding Group, Alibaba Cloud, AutoNavi, and Lingxi Interactive Entertainment, Taobao, Alibaba International, Cainiao, Great Entertainment, Ele.me, and DingTalk will also start recruiting this month.
It is understood that more than 80% of Alibaba's 2025 autumn recruitment positions are technical positions, mainly in the three categories of R&D, algorithms, and computing. Taking Alibaba Cloud as an example, this autumn recruitment is mainly in the direction of technical R&D and algorithms, with nearly 1,000 people to be recruited.
In addition, Taotian T-Star top talent program will also start interviews in this autumn recruitment. On July 22, Alibaba Taotian Group's "Top Talent T-Star Program" was officially launched. The project recruits global cutting-edge technology competition, academic and practical masters, and provides these "genius teenagers" with top technical topics, computing resources, R&D platform resources, and a top growth space with an annual salary starting at one million and exclusive training for "big bosses".
It is reported that the T-Star program is a continuation of the "Ali Star" program, which originated in 2011 and aims to attract the youngest and most top-notch technical talents to join. Most of the people recruited in the past were PhDs, who were given vice president-level positions and unlimited annual salaries.
According to the information published on the official recruitment website of Taotian Group, the T-Star program has currently opened up a variety of algorithm engineer positions. The work directions include natural language processing, multimodality, three-dimensional reconstruction, video encoding and decoding, etc. The work locations are Hangzhou, Beijing, etc.
For the 2025 autumn recruitment, Alibaba Cloud, Taobao, Alibaba International, Ele.me, and AutoNavi have completed a new round of recruitment expansion plans for "Campus Ambassadors". Campus Ambassadors will work with corporate recruitment departments to promote employer brands and recommend outstanding talents, and will receive exclusive internal referral opportunities, interview green channels, and other recruitment benefits.
