On August 8, Shuangxi Primary School and Taoyuan Primary School in Yingze District joined hands with four overseas Chinese schools to hold a "cloud hand-in-hand" signing ceremony to establish friendly cooperation.
The event was hosted by the Chinese Language Education Foundation of China and undertaken by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the Provincial People's Government, aiming to further strengthen the educational and cultural exchanges between Chinese and foreign schools. As a "roots project" for Chinese culture overseas, Chinese language education is also an important carrier for Chinese youth to learn Chinese and inherit Chinese culture. Choosing to "join hands" with domestic schools to cooperate and establish friendship is a practical measure to promote exchanges between Chinese and foreign schools and improve the level of education and teaching. It is also an important way to help domestic schools open up to international perspectives.
At the ceremony, Shuangxi Primary School and Taoyuan Primary School signed friendly cooperation agreements with Delft Chinese School in the Netherlands, Huada Chinese School in Germany, Chinese Academy of China-Pakistan Education and Culture Center in Pakistan, Bowen School in Yangon, Myanmar, and the Chinese Language Education Foundation of China. In the future, the six schools will share resources, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and jointly promote new developments in overseas Chinese education through exchanges and cooperation.
After the signing ceremony, a social event was held. Student representatives from schools at home and abroad showed their cultural characteristics and youthful vitality through wonderful performances. In the harmonious resonance of art, students transcended the boundaries of language and culture, deepened mutual understanding, and jointly painted a new future for Chinese education.
