Tao Zhengqiang from Qijiang, Chongqing, was once a steelworker. Now he has transformed himself into an anchor with more than 900,000 fans, helping locals sell high-quality agricultural products and opening up a new path for the sales of local specialties in his hometown. Recently, "Tao Zhengqiang and others" received good news - as an emerging profession, online anchors have been officially included in the national occupational classification system. Some people say that online anchors across the country can now be considered "regularized".
Why do anchors become regular anchors? Based on their abilities and contributions. Everyone has their favorite anchors, whether they are rural anchors selling agricultural products or bookish anchors who talk about knowledge and culture... As the saying goes, every profession has its own specialty, and a good live broadcast requires solid preparation. When live broadcasting becomes a new normal, anchors are no longer "niche". Data shows that by the end of last year, the number of professional anchors had reached 15.08 million; in 2023 alone, the market revenue scale of my country's online performance (live broadcasting) industry will reach 209.5 billion yuan.
"Promotion" not only clears the name of anchors, but also forces them to make progress. We have to admit that online anchors were once considered a group of people who "did not do their job properly" and "showed off". At the same time, chaos in the live broadcast room also occurred frequently, such as bottom-line marketing, creating gimmicks to attract traffic, etc. Nowadays, online anchors are included in the national occupational classification system, which shows that this profession is also doing "serious things" and this group is also recognized as workers. For this reason, anchors can no longer "grow wildly", but must gradually establish their own professional ethics coordinates and continue to move forward on the right track.
"Promotion" is not a result, but a new beginning. Once people are "promoted", the rules must also be "promoted" as soon as possible. For example, speeding up the construction of a professional management system, improving the corresponding qualification certification, behavioral norms, and rights protection... These are practical problems that need to be solved urgently. It is conceivable that a series of relevant new regulations will be released in the near future. By then, the anchors must also have a stronger sense of self-discipline, take a "do the right thing" attitude, and do their own work and development work well.
It is not only anchors who have been "regularized", but also intelligent network car testers, dental hygiene technicians... The recognition of these new professions is conducive to the sustainable development of new industries and new formats. Nowadays, more and more workers are actively joining the blue ocean of emerging professions, creating huge economic and social benefits. In the face of workers' new choices, how to protect them with more policy kindness is also an issue worthy of continued attention.
