[Global Network Technology Comprehensive Report] On July 21, Tongji University’s official website announced that its independently developed "intelligent connected vehicle cloud-controlled fully unmanned evaluation system" was officially released.

It is reported that this is the world's first cloud-controlled multi-traffic participant evaluation system for intelligent connected vehicles. It is committed to creating the industry's first closed test field with continuous dynamic scene urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot, navigation assisted driving) testing capabilities to meet the safety verification needs of high-level autonomous driving vehicles with dynamic and continuous scenes, mixed traffic participants, and diversified testing functions.

Professor Xiong Lu, the project leader, introduced that the system includes two major platforms: cloud-based digital twins and simulated traffic participants, as well as three key technologies: automatic generation of dangerous scenarios, collaborative planning of multiple traffic participants, and high-precision motion control on the vehicle side. It enables a complex traffic test environment on a real vehicle site with dynamic continuity of traffic flow, mixed and diverse traffic participants, flexible adjustment of working conditions, and active generation of conflict and confrontation scenarios, meeting the safety verification needs of high-level autonomous driving vehicles.
