compared with the previous ships in this series, the construction period of these two ships was further shortened, setting a construction record of 43 days for sea trials after launching, and the ships were successfully delivered in just one week after the sea trials.
in terms of performance, in addition to setting up four automatic modes for the ship, including sports mode and energy-saving mode, its independently developed hydraulic flip hatch cover is also a highlight.
dong songli, deputy general manager of jinglu shipbuilding, said: "compared with traditional box materials, this type of hatch cover can be opened and closed by the ship's own hydraulic power. when the first ship was manufactured, it took nearly two months to debug this set of hydraulic hatch covers. now, through process optimization, the debugging cycle has been shortened to 22 days, and the construction period has been shortened by more than 65%. the entire construction period from launching to sea trial has now been shortened to about 40 days, which greatly improves the efficiency of construction. at present, this type of ship is the ceiling among feeder container ships and has been highly evaluated and recognized by ship owners."
it is understood that this type of ship mainly serves the baltic sea navigation area. the hull lines have been deeply optimized, which greatly reduces the wave resistance when sailing at a high speed of 19kn, while taking into account the economic speed and the sailing resistance under various trim states. under the same deadweight tonnage, the energy consumption is lower and the speed is faster. the ship can adapt to crowded waterways and inland ports, equipped with bow and stern thrusters, efficient twisting rudders, reversible masts and retractable radars that can pass through restricted bridges, etc. the ship is small in size, complex in system, and compact in layout, and is the ceiling among feeder box ships.
