super typhoon makar, the 11th super typhoon this year, landed in wengtian town, wenchang city, our province at 16:20 on september 6, causing serious disasters. after the disaster, general secretary xi jinping attached great importance to it and made important instructions, requiring the organization of disaster relief forces and making every effort to reduce casualties. this fully reflects general secretary xi jinping's concern for the people affected by the disaster in hainan and his concern for the safety and well-being of the people. premier li qiang issued instructions, requiring the maximum reduction of the impact of the disaster. the state flood control and drought relief headquarters sent a working group to wenchang and other disaster-stricken areas to guide the rescue and disposal work. these fully reflect the care and concern of the party central committee and the state council for the people of hainan. under the strong leadership of the party central committee, the whole province has stood together through thick and thin and united as one, and has achieved a phased victory in effectively resisting the super typhoon disaster. the provincial party committee and the provincial government express their heartfelt thanks to the cadres and the masses!

facing the direct attack of "makar", the strongest autumn typhoon that has landed in my country since the founding of the people's republic of china, all departments at all levels in the province have conscientiously implemented the important instructions of general secretary xi jinping on flood control, disaster reduction and relief work, adhered to the concept of putting people and life first, and effectively carried out various typhoon prevention work. relevant units such as emergency, meteorology, resources and regulations, ocean, housing and construction, agriculture and rural areas, tourism, education, health, transportation, water affairs, public security, power grid, and communications have deployed forward and worked together to do a solid job in defense in related fields; the military and police forces stationed in hainan regard the disaster situation as an order and the disaster area as a battlefield, and they are dispatched urgently and charged ahead to actively carry out transfer and rescue work; the central media stationed in hainan and various media in the province have reported on it in a rolling manner, conveying the wind and rain and warmth and true feelings to the whole society. the majority of party members and cadres led grassroots staff, grid members, and volunteers to work non-stop, day and night, and quickly invested in the transfer of disaster personnel, risk and hidden danger investigation, and other work, racing against time with the typhoon and racing against the rainstorm; firefighters, medical staff, sanitation workers, etc. actively participated in this battle and fought on the front line of typhoon prevention and resistance. the general public, businesses and enterprises took the overall situation into consideration, took the initiative to participate, actively responded to the call for defense, consciously "stopped and calmed down", and conscientiously carried out protection and risk avoidance, gathered a strong force to fight the typhoon, and composed a heroic and fearless struggle song. of course, what worries us most are the people affected by the disaster. they are self-reliant and self-help in the face of disasters, which is touching. these people are heroes worthy of praise and are the deepest concerns of the party committee and government. the provincial party committee and the provincial government express their deepest condolences to everyone!
