it is reported that starting from april 2022, wuxi lihu supercharging technology co., ltd., a lakeside enterprise, and dalian maritime university and other institutions and enterprises officially launched the research and development of the "lihu future". after the hull design drawings passed the review and approval of the china classification society, in september 2023, the "lihu future" was provided with a full set of hydrogen powertrains and built by haida qingneng ship co., ltd. the hull is an all-aluminum alloy structure with a total length of 20.5 meters and a beam of 5.2 meters. it uses hydrogen as the main energy source and can achieve a maximum range of 200 nautical miles. after nearly one year of intensive construction, the ship was fully completed and launched. after the various indicators of the hull passed the acceptance of the china classification society, the "lihu future" is expected to be officially put into operation at the end of the year.
