From August 8 to 9, the finals of the Jining Labor Relations Coordinator Vocational Skills Competition were successfully held in Weishan County. Zhang Long, Director of the Labor Relations Division of the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and Second-level Inspector, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Geng Yanli, Dean of the Labor Relations School of Shandong Management Institute, Wang Xianzhong, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Jining Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Wu Lei, member of the Standing Committee of the Weishan County Party Committee and Deputy County Magistrate, attended the event. The responsible comrades in charge of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureaus of various counties (cities and districts) and the heads of relevant business departments (units) attended the event.
The competition was jointly sponsored by Jining Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Weishan County People's Government, with the theme of "Strengthening skills and abilities to show style, building harmony and promoting development". The finals were divided into two tracks: the enterprise group and the labor and capital management group in the engineering construction field. 198 contestants from 14 counties and cities in Jining competed on the same field, fully demonstrating the solid theoretical foundation, excellent business skills and excellent mental outlook of the city's labor relations coordinators. After multiple rounds of competition including theoretical examinations, skill assessments, and competitions on the same stage, 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 6 third prizes were finally selected.
The competition actively explores the "four-in-one" competition and exhibition model, organically integrating skill competition and display and exchange. While organizing and carrying out competition activities, it also sets up links such as the Jining City Harmonious Labor Relations Construction Achievements Display and Typical Propaganda of Harmonious Labor Relations Enterprises, giving full play to the typical demonstration and leading role of national-level harmonious labor relations enterprises, provincial-level gold medal labor relations coordinators, etc., to create a good atmosphere for harmony.
At the same time, the competition also organized contestants to visit the grassroots labor relations public service station in Weishan County, go to the red base to carry out ideological and political education, improve the comprehensive quality and ability of labor relations coordinators, and lay a solid foundation for grassroots labor relations consultation and coordination work.
This competition has built a platform for learning, exchange and display of labor relations coordination work in the city. A group of outstanding young labor relations coordinators have emerged, which has effectively promoted the construction of Jining City's labor relations coordinator team and laid a solid foundation for continuously improving grassroots labor relations governance capabilities.
