IT Home reported on August 12 that Honeycomb Energy officially announced today that the standard low-capacity, high-voltage 100kWh battery system for commercial light trucks has officially rolled off the production line recently. The range of a single full charge can reach 300 kilometers, which can cover daily transportation needs in and around the city.


According to reports, this commercial light truck battery system relies on the Honeycomb Energy short blade + stacking route to build a 100kWh battery system standard product, which can be used for both commercial and passenger vehicles in terms of product performance. Its main performance is as follows:

Group performance

The battery system of Honeycomb Energy's commercial light truck adopts a short-knife stacking structure, with the battery cells occupying more than 87% of the system's height. This design improves the energy density of the battery system and ensures that the bottom has sufficient protection space and strength.
Safety performance
In addition to the safety features of the iron-lithium battery cell itself, the design of the short-blade stacked thin battery cell of the Honeycomb Energy commercial light truck battery system also ensures smooth internal exhaust and large-area heat dissipation on the surface of the battery cell, avoiding potential safety hazards caused by heat accumulation. The system level is also equipped with multiple safety measures such as temperature monitoring, voltage monitoring, and pressure relief balance valve.
Charging performance
The battery system of SVOLT's commercial light truck supports up to 2C fast charging, and in the future it can be upgraded to 4C fast charging technology with the same size, which is suitable for inter-city transportation scenarios that require longer mileage. This means that users can complete a short-term fast charging in just 10 to 20 minutes.

In addition, the 100kWh battery system of Honeycomb Energy's commercial light truck adopts a flexible thermal management design and supports precise temperature control. It can be configured with a combination of heating film heating, liquid heating, liquid cooling and natural cooling according to actual application conditions. The official said that the product also uses the short knife series battery cells, which are consistent with the size specifications of passenger car battery cells.Realize production line sharing, improving production efficiency and cost control.

IT Home previously reported that Honeycomb Energy's second-generation short-blade fast-charging iron-lithium battery cells have completed large-scale deliveries to customers at its two bases in Shangrao and Yancheng, and it is expected to deliver 100,000 sets this year.


In July this year, Honeycomb Energy released a number of new "Dagger" battery products, including 5C lithium iron phosphate Dagger battery cells, 6C ternary supercharger cells, 4C hybrid Dagger battery cells, etc.:

  • 5C lithium iron phosphate short-blade battery cell: It is said to be the most advanced in the industry, with the charging time from 10-80% shortened to 10 minutes and a cycle life of more than 3,500 times. It will be mass-produced in December this year.

  • 6C ternary supercharger: It can provide both ultra-long battery life and super-charging experience. It can reach a battery life of 500-600 kilometers after charging for 5 minutes. The battery capacity of the whole pack is up to 100-120KWh, and the battery life can reach more than 1,000 kilometers.

  • 4C hybrid short blade battery cell "800V hybrid ternary dragon scale armor battery": a product launched for the PHEV market, which will be mass-produced in July 2025. Officials said that with the support of 800V+4C fast charging technology, it has become the fastest charging PHEV product in the industry. Its energy density is 250Wh/kg, which can provide 55-70kWh of power selection space for PHEV models, and bring up to 300-400km of pure electric range. In addition, its unit cost can be reduced by 5%.
