Many central state-owned enterprises and enterprises in the field of artificial intelligence participated, including China Electronics Information Industry Development Research Institute, China Mobile Research Institute, Sinopec Shengli Oilfield, State Grid Customer Service Center, China Electric Power Technology, China Southern Power Grid Digital Grid Group, Damo Academy, Baidu Smart Cloud, and Innovation Qiji. The guests in attendance had in-depth discussions on the application and practice of artificial intelligence in different fields, the development and application of large models, intelligent operation and maintenance, and artificial intelligence empowering industrial transformation.

The forum opened with a speech by the leader of China Center for Information Industry Development. In his speech, China Center for Information Industry Development emphasized the important role of artificial intelligence in new industrialization, the important direction of the integration of artificial intelligence and industry and finance, and the ultimate goal of artificial intelligence empowering the implementation of scenarios.

During the signing ceremony, representatives from the China Center for Information Industry Development and the State Grid Customer Service Center signed a strategic cooperation agreement in the presence of all participants. This also represents the new determination of both parties to work together to improve the level of smart power services and empower the development of the power industry.

In addition, representatives of the China Software Evaluation Center and Synced also signed a cooperation agreement, which will closely combine the professional advantages and rich resources of both parties in their respective fields, thereby effectively realizing resource sharing and complementary advantages, and jointly building a new cooperation ecosystem.

In the keynote speech session, Liu Le, head of the energy industry at DAMO Academy's Decision Intelligence Laboratory, shared the application products of DAMO Academy's Decision Intelligence Laboratory in power scenarios. Based on the decision intelligence-related technologies it has studied, DAMO Academy's Decision Intelligence Laboratory has developed decision products such as MindOpt solvers for applications in power and other fields. Green energy AI solutions are implemented through basic capabilities around power generation, transmission, and distribution. In the era of big models, its applications in the power and energy fields include accurate weather forecasts, such as [global-regional] joint weather forecasts; solving AI-explainable problems; exploring human-like decision intelligence, combining big models with traditional technologies, and improving the level of intelligence.

Sinopec Shengli Oilfield shared its attempts at intelligence in oilfield scenarios. Sinopec pointed out that the new quality productivity of oilfields in the new era revolves around people, tools and means of production, and oilfields achieve reduced manpower and increased production through digitalization and intelligence. The goal of Shengli Oilfield's digital transformation and intelligent transformation is to build an intelligent oilfield. It is currently in the 1.0 era with automation as the core, and will develop towards the 2.0 era of intelligence in the future, including full-chain intelligent decision-making and integrated collaboration. The oilfield also proposed changes in four directions, including comprehensive research methods, engineering process models, labor organization forms and management models.

Yu Youping, Vice President of Baidu Smart Cloud, proposed Baidu's solution for exploring AI applications in enterprise internal application scenarios. "Baidu Smart Cloud provides a full range of capabilities from IaaS, PaaS to SaaS, helping big models to increase revenue, improve efficiency, reduce costs and comply with regulations in enterprise applications. Among them, knowledge management, customer service and marketing are the best ways for enterprises to increase revenue and improve efficiency through big models. The "Zhenzhi" product launched by Baidu Smart Cloud has reshaped the enterprise knowledge management paradigm, the "Keyue" product has innovated intelligent customer service capabilities, and the "Xiling" digital human product, after being reconstructed based on big models, has made 2D and 3D digital humans more realistic and greatly reduced the cost and time of digital human production, which has broad application prospects in marketing and sales scenarios."

In response to the problems existing in traditional power operation and maintenance, China Electric Power Technology believes that traditional power operation and maintenance has pain points such as insufficient data processing capabilities, difficulty in fault prediction and location, and high human resource costs. Intelligent operation and maintenance is the only way, but it faces many challenges. China Electric Power Technology integrates artificial intelligence with the power industry, and forms an edge-to-end architecture through intelligent front-end equipment and AI back-end platforms to improve operation and maintenance efficiency, reduce costs, ensure safety, and promote the intelligent development of the power industry.

In addition, China Mobile Research Institute also introduced China Mobile's development strategy and practical achievements in the field of artificial intelligence: in the intelligent era, AI, data and computing power have become important factors driving new quality productivity. China Mobile has built a smart computing power cluster of 10,000 cards, created a large model with hundreds of billions of parameters, established a Jiutian 1+N general/special large model system, created a Yiheng large model evaluation system, completed the evaluation of more than 40 mainstream large models, and established an artificial intelligence evaluation large model alliance.

In the release of AI scenario requirements of central state-owned enterprises, China Southern Power Grid Digital Grid Group released the project requirements of "Research on Innovative Application Technology of Electric Energy Data Driven by Artificial Intelligence", including the use of multimodal large models and other technologies to achieve fault warning and operation and maintenance efficiency optimization of metering devices, improve the quality of electric energy data, empower users to flexibly respond to resource management internally, and explore the new role of electric energy data in macroeconomic analysis externally. The AI requirements faced by the project include specific technical applications and realization goals in scenarios such as AI-enabled metering operation and maintenance, refined load management, and electricity-based economics.

The roundtable forum was hosted by a representative of the China Software Testing Center. Zhang Fanen, Chief Technology Officer of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and AInnovation, Liu Le, Head of the Energy Industry of the Decision Intelligence Laboratory of the DAMO Academy, and China Southern Power Grid Digital Power Group discussed the initial experience of AI-enabled new industrialization.

Zhongdian Yuchuang believes that artificial intelligence plays a significant role in the new industrialization. Zhongdian Yuchuang uses robot intelligent perception and control technology, including image processing, sound processing, scene perception and cognition, reinforcement learning and large model prediction and early warning technology, to ensure safe and efficient operation and maintenance of equipment. Human-machine interaction and human-machine integration involve natural language processing, product after-sales service interpretation, human-machine collaborative control, etc., and the effect is achieved through human-machine joint integration training.

Zhang Faen, CTO of AInnovation, said that the connotation of artificial intelligence is to find knowledge from data and apply it to scenarios. The scenarios are wide-ranging, and technologies based on large models have more potential. Behind the emergence of intelligence is the scaling law, which is the law of parameters, training data and total computing power of large models or deep learning neural networks. The emergence of intelligence will make automation more intelligent, robots will be more flexible in the future, and the products produced will be more diverse and personalized.

Liu Le, head of the energy industry at the Decision Intelligence Laboratory of the DAMO Academy, mentioned that new industrialization requires more accurate weather forecasts. The emergence of big models has brought new opportunities for AI meteorological big models. At the same time, the safety, reliability, and explainability of AI are also important points of focus. When the big model is implemented, the explainable AI direction can be used to align with human experience as much as possible, and safety verification can be carried out to assist decision-making. At the same time, human-like decision-making intelligence can be explored based on the big model.

The China Southern Power Grid Digital Grid Group proposed that the application of artificial intelligence in the power industry has penetrated into various scenarios, such as front-end intelligent customer service and power marketing, and back-end operation and maintenance, including drone inspections and image recognition. Load forecasting is very important for power grid companies.
