red net news changde september 21st(correspondent ding ruiping wu haiyan) on september 20, hanshou county held the third plenary (expanded) meeting of the student safety professional committee in 2024 and a campus anti-bullying and mental health meeting. li hui, deputy county magistrate of the county people's government, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. nearly 350 people including members of the hanshou county student safety committee and heads of various townships (streets), hanshou high-tech zone, relevant sections of the education bureau, heads of county schools, townships (streets) primary and secondary schools, mental health teachers, and class teacher representatives attended the meeting. the meeting was hosted by the hanshou county education bureau and organized by hanshou county xinhua bookstore.
at the meeting, schools such as furong school and zhan lepin middle school shared their experience in mental health education and reviewed cases, and xu zheng, secretary of the party committee and director of the county education bureau, commented on the cases. the meeting deployed work on student mental health, school bus safety, food safety, and campus anti-bullying.
in the second phase of the meeting, yan liangshi, a member of the chinese psychological society and a professor of psychology at hunan normal university, gave a lecture on "managing and educating minds: mental health education from the perspective of class teachers". the teachers who participated in the meeting said that by listening to professor yan's lectures, they had mastered many psychological communication skills and consolidated their basic knowledge of psychology. these skills not only help teachers better identify students' emotional states and understand their psychological needs in daily teaching, but also effectively promote emotional exchanges between teachers and students, and provide a joint force for creating a healthy and safe campus environment and promoting the development of education in hanshou county.
