luo yichen started raising snails because of a reward from her science teacher. in may this year, the science teacher assigned homework to the children, asking them to make a "home" for the snails. whoever made the best "home" would be rewarded with a white jade snail.
after luo yichen won the award, she went to see snails as soon as she got home from school every day, and asked experts for tips on how to raise snails. after a few months, she became a little expert in raising snails.
