at the forum, beijing council for the promotion of international trade promoted the full use of the hi-tech expo platform to serve private technology companies in their "going global" activities. representatives from high-end intelligent car robot company jiyue automobile and energy digitalization company enchain united introduced their core advantages and future cooperation visions in detail. more than 100 representatives of private technology companies in beijing had face-to-face exchanges with representatives of foreign institutions and companies to explore a new situation of deep complementarity and highly win-win cooperation in the fields of new energy, artificial intelligence, and financial cooperation.

wang jingchuan, director of the investment promotion department of beijing municipal council for the promotion of international trade, said that the council has organized relevant matchmaking activities for the abu dhabi investment authority, dubai investment authority and sharjah investment department since this year. the dubai business forum, which just ended not long ago, also achieved very good results. through such matchmaking activities, nearly a thousand beijing companies have been attracted to participate. both sides have a strong desire to cooperate, and it feels like a "two-way rush".

this year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between china and the uae. the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries has also entered a new stage, with significant developments in key areas such as politics, economy, and culture. the uae has become china's largest non-oil trading partner in the middle east and north africa, with non-oil trade between the two sides reaching $82 billion in 2023. it is expected that by 2030, the trade volume between the two countries will reach $200 billion. according to statistics, the uae absorbs 47.7% of china's total investment in arab countries, while the uae's investment in china accounts for 33% of the total investment of arab countries in china.
