yang dizhi, a teacher of ideological and political courses at the high school affiliated to renmin university of china, talked about how he led students to conduct street interviews and personally understand the story of tea farmers in the mountains gradually getting rid of poverty, so that they could understand the efforts and responsibilities of our country in poverty alleviation; gong changxia, head teacher of the primary school affiliated to tsinghua university and the head of the science and technology society, recalled the experience of planting tomatoes with the children, helping the growth of stilt chickens, and investigating the water quality of the river on the spot, and talked about how to do a good job of "scientific enlightenment" for students; hu yanli, the grade group leader and head teacher of the qicong kindergarten of the china hearing and language rehabilitation research center, talked about her experience of getting along with autistic students and witnessed the growth of special children through help and companionship; liu letian, secretary of the party general branch of qinghe middle school, talked about his experience in aiding xinjiang. he had visited more than 250 schools in hotan city and established a full-chain scientific education system so that local children could "take the same class" as those in beijing...
it is worth mentioning that huang huilin, a senior professor at beijing normal university who has been teaching for more than 60 years and the dean of the institute of international communication of chinese culture, also came to the scene to tell her own story of educating people. now she is over 90 years old and still working in the front line of education. her appearance received the warmest applause at the scene. this performance hopes to use the touching stories and educational spirit of the older generation of teachers to inspire the capital's education community to think about educational inheritance and responsibility.
as a representative of normal students, the chenxi graduate teaching team of capital normal university has demonstrated the spirit of "future teachers". capital normal university joined the china youth volunteer graduate teaching team project in 2001. so far, it has sent 23 batches of 376 volunteers, serving 20,000 students in the teaching areas, including the 7th division of xinjiang production and construction corps huyanghe city, moyu county, hotan, xinjiang, dongchuan, yunnan, mangshi, yunnan, and pingshan, hebei. in 2015, the chenxi teaching team was rated as one of the top ten outstanding teaching teams in the country. in 2016 and 2018, the chenxi teaching team was twice jointly selected as the "most beautiful teaching team in the lens" by the central committee of the communist youth league, guangming daily and the china youth volunteer association.
