notice on temporary traffic management measures on some roads during the "colorful outdoor" 2024 changping triathlon

the "colorful outdoor" 2024 changping triathlon is scheduled to be held from 8:00 to 10:30 on september 7 and from 6:00 to 11:45 on september 8 at the ming tombs reservoir triathlon stadium in changping district, beijing (formerly kowloon amusement park) and some roads around the ming tombs reservoir in changping district.

in order to ensure the smooth progress of the competition and ensure the safety and smoothness of the traffic during the competition, according to the relevant provisions of the road traffic safety law of the people's republic of china, traffic management measures will be taken on some roads of shuiku west road in different time periods and sections during the competition. the notice is hereby issued as follows:

1. start, finish and race route settings

1. starting point and end point: changping district shisanling reservoir triathlon venue (formerly jiulong amusement park)

2. competition route:

september 7: the swimming section will be held in the ming tombs reservoir. the cycling section will exit the main venue at the triathlon venue (turn right), ride northwest along the reservoir west road, turn back at the xianren cave village turning point, and return to the main venue along the original route. the running section will exit the main venue at the triathlon venue (turn left), ride southeast along the reservoir west road, turn back at the east end of the reservoir dam, and return to the main venue along the original route.

september 8: the swimming section will be held in the ming tombs reservoir. the cycling section will exit the main venue at the triathlon venue (turn left), ride southeast along reservoir west road, pass chaofeng north road, mangshan road, reservoir east road, enter the east gate of beijing dingshuo agriculture, the inner road of qikongqiao flower sea, the south entrance of erba (turn left), and reservoir west road to the main venue. the running section will exit the main venue at the triathlon venue (turn left) and proceed southeast along reservoir west road, pass the reservoir dam, reservoir east road, reservoir north road, and youdi road (southern section) to the turning point and return to the main venue along the original route.

2. traffic management measures

1. temporary road management measures on september 7

from 8:00 to the end of the competition, shuiku west road is from the north entrance of nanxin village (not included) to the west corner intersection of shuiku west road and shuiku family courtyard (not included) in both directions; except for vehicles holding "hua cai outdoor" 2024 changping triathlon special vehicle license and personnel certificates and event staff, vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from passing. private vehicles are requested to detour via zhongshankou road and chaofeng north road.

2. temporary road management measures on september 8

from 6:00 a.m. to the end of the competition, except for vehicles and event staff holding the "hua cai outdoor" 2024 changping triathlon special vehicle permit and personnel certificates, other vehicles and pedestrians will be prohibited from passing through the following roads at different times and sections.

starting at 6:00, vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from traveling on shuiku west road from the north entrance of nanxin village (not included) to the intersection of shuiku west road and chaofeng north road (inclusive) in both directions; chaofeng north road from the intersection of shuiku west road to the intersection of mangshan road (not included) in both directions; mangshan road from the intersection of chaofeng north road (inclusive) to the intersection of shuiku east road (not included) in both directions. private vehicles are requested to detour via zhongshankou road and changcui road.

starting from 7:00, vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from passing through the east road of the reservoir from the intersection of mangshan road (inclusive) to the 419 sign of beixin village farmhouse restaurant (excluding) in both directions; and the west road of the reservoir from the intersection of huzhuang road (excluding) to the north entrance of nanxin village (inclusive) in both directions. private vehicles are requested to detour via changchi road, zhongshankou road, changcui road and chaoxin road.

starting from 8:00, vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from passing through shuiku east road from the intersection of mangshan road (not included), through shuiku north road to the intersection of youdi road and chaofeng north road (not included) in both directions. private vehicles are requested to detour via chaofeng north road, mangshan road, and shuiku east road.

3. during the competition from september 7 to 8, it is prohibited to pile up various items on the above-mentioned roads to avoid affecting the normal progress of the competition.

4. during the competition, vehicles and pedestrians passing through the intersections along the competition route must obey the instructions of traffic police and staff.

5. the time for resuming public traffic on traffic-managed sections will be decided by the traffic management department of the public security agency based on the competition situation.

6. units and citizens along the race route are requested to arrange their travel routes in advance to avoid affecting their work and life. we ask all units and the general public to understand and support us and consciously follow our instructions.
