the "ice house" is a supporting facility of the national bobsleigh and luge center, with three short ice tracks for the national bobsleigh and luge team to conduct technical training. in order to meet the training requirements of the national team, the refrigeration system of the "ice house" was started as early as august 20. after 6 days of continuous cooling, it successfully created a suitable low-temperature environment. subsequently, the national alpine company mobilized elite troops and adopted an efficient rotation of "three shifts" operation mode. in just five days, a series of complex and delicate preparations such as defrosting, sprinkling ice, repairing ice, and replenishing ice on the track were completed.

in addition, the ice-making work of the national bobsleigh and luge center competition track is being prepared. it is planned to start the cleaning and cooling of the track in mid-september, and officially enter the ice-making stage in early october. the ice-making work is expected to be fully completed in mid-october. by then, the national bobsleigh and luge center will provide an excellent training platform for many professional teams at home and abroad, helping them to create greater glory in future competitions. also in the intervals between competitions and training, some tracks of the "snow dragon" will be open to the public for the "thunder bobsleigh" experience project, allowing tourists to experience the speed and passion of the professional track at close range.
