september of each year is beijing's green travel promotion month. the reporter learned from the municipal transportation commission that in order to continue to increase the proportion of green travel,this year, the city will open three new rail transit lines (sections), and open multiple station entrances and exits, including exit b and exit c of yizhuang railway station and exit d of xingong station on the daxing line., further facilitating citizens’ travel.

this year, the city will accelerate the improvement of a comprehensive transportation system with rail transit as the backbone, ground public transportation as the support, and various travel modes as supplements, with a reasonable structure, smooth connection, convenient and orderly operation. it will promote the optimization of various transportation modes around the rail transit layout and good connection, guide the formation of a "fishbone" transportation structure, optimize and adjust ground public transportation, shared bicycles, park and transfer and other connection methods, and continuously improve the level of transportation services.

specifically, this year, 45.3 kilometers of three lines (sections) will be opened, including the first phase of metro line 3 (dongsishitiao-dongfeng), line 12 (sijiqing-dongfeng), and the first phase of changping line south extension (jimenqiao station and the section behind the station). currently, the lines are undergoing empty-load trial operation. at the same time, the zhufang north station of changping line south extension will be opened, and the b and c entrances of yizhuang railway station on yizhuang line, the d entrance of xingong station on daxing line, the a2 entrance of futong station on line 14, and the d2 entrance of xueyuanqiao station on changping line south extension will be opened.

in addition, we will promote the public transportation operation of suburban railways and implement the overall improvement project of the urban sub-center line (beijing west-liangxiang). we will gather urban construction indicators to the rail micro-centers, accelerate the integration of stations and cities, speed up the construction of the first batch of 71 rail micro-centers such as fengtai station, huoying hub, and lize terminal, improve the efficiency of passenger transfers at hub nodes, and create a vibrant urban center.

in terms of ground public transportation, the focus is on optimizing and adjusting lines and stations around rails. in order to promote the integration of subway and bus networks, 34 bus lines were optimized and adjusted, 349.1 kilometers of duplicate lines were reduced, and 4 bus stations around subways such as raolefu were promoted to achieve transfers within 50 meters. in terms of diversified services, 11 medical routes and 21 tourist routes were opened.
