some roads in yanqing districtnotice on taking temporary traffic management measures
the half-olympic distance race day and the olympic distance race day of the beijing international triathlon will be held on september 7 and 8, 2024, at beijing expo park and surrounding roads in yanqing district. the starting and ending points of the race are set in beijing expo park. the specific race route is: starting from beijing expo park, passing through gate 8 of expo park, huanhu south road, kangzhang road (northbound), shipuyuan road (eastbound), shipuyuan branch road (southbound), yanxia road (eastbound), xishuncheng street (southbound), yankang road (southbound), huanhu south road (westbound), gate 5 of beijing expo park, and arriving at the finish line of beijing expo park.
in order to ensure the safety and smooth progress of the event, traffic management measures will be taken on the roads during the event in accordance with the relevant provisions of the road traffic safety laws and regulations. the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
1. from 7:00 a.m. on september 7 and 8 to the end of the competition, no vehicles or pedestrians are allowed to pass from gate 8 of beijing expo park to the west entrance of huanhu south road (inclusive) in both directions on huanhu south road; from taipingzhuang road to xizhuojiaying road (inclusive) in both directions on kangzhang road; from xizhuojiaying road to shipuyuan road (inclusive) in west to east on shipuyuan road; from shipuyuan west entrance to shipuyuan south entrance (inclusive) on shipuyuan branch road; from xizhuojiaying south entrance to yanxia road east entrance (inclusive) in both directions; from yanxia road east entrance to xishuncheng street east entrance to xishuncheng street east entrance in north to south; from xishuncheng street east entrance to huanhu south road east entrance in north to south on yankang road; from huanhu south road east entrance to gate 5 of beijing expo park in both directions on huanhu south road; and from xitun west entrance (excluding) on fuxiao road to the south entrance of guishui river tunnel in both directions, except for vehicles and personnel holding special certificates for the beijing international triathlon. private vehicles can detour via baikang road, yankang road, jingli expressway, jingqing line, xiafu road, yannong auxiliary line, yanqing west street, yuhuangge avenue, hunan west road, and huichuan street.
2. parking of any vehicles and stacking of any items are prohibited on the above-mentioned roads to avoid affecting the normal progress of the competition.
3. during the event, vehicles and pedestrians passing through intersections along the competition route must obey the instructions of police officers and staff.
4. the time for the above-mentioned roads to resume public traffic will be decided by the public security organs based on the situation of the competition.
5. within the scope of the above-mentioned roads, specific adjustments to public transportation operations will be announced by the district public transportation authority.
6. units along the competition route and the general public, please arrange your travel routes in advance to avoid affecting your work and life.
