In early August, a group of young college students born in the 1990s and 2000s who had just stepped out of the "ivory tower" officially reported to TISCO. These more than 110 college students include doctoral students, master's students, and undergraduates. Most of them are from domestic double first-class universities and famous overseas universities. With dreams and passion, they will open a new chapter in their lives on this hot steel fertile land and inject fresh blood into the development of TISCO.
Just after 8 o'clock, Li Cong, a master's student who graduated from Hebei University of Technology, came to the TISCO Science and Technology Apartment beside the Jiancaoping Steel Hongqiao with his luggage. Before he entered the door of the apartment, the young volunteers organized by the TISCO Youth League Committee had already come to greet him and took over his luggage. With the enthusiastic service of the Human Resources Department and the apartment staff, Li Cong quickly completed the registration and check-in procedures. Hou Haiyun, director of the Youth Workers Department of the TISCO Youth League Committee, immediately stepped forward and handed him a hand-companion gift bag carefully prepared by the TISCO Youth League Committee, which included a small fan, a sunny umbrella and other items, and told him that he could choose a favorite book in front of the bookshelf. After carefully selecting a copy of "The Biography of Mao Zedong", Li Cong happily told reporters that as a Shanxi native who had studied abroad for more than 10 years, he now returned to his hometown to join TISCO and had a sense of belonging. In the future, he will take root in the front line of scientific research and contribute to the development of TISCO and the prosperity of his hometown.
"Pen tip steel, hand-torn steel, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge... These national key products and projects all use TISCO products. It's amazing!" exclaimed the parents of Ren Jiarong, a master's student who graduated from the University of Science and Technology Beijing. Ren Jiarong and his parents drove to Taiyuan from other places, and the family went to the Science and Technology Apartment to handle the registration and check-in procedures. Seeing that the room was clean and tidy and the furniture and items were all available, Ren Jiarong's parents said with relief: "The conditions in the apartment are really good, just like at home. We as parents are very happy and relieved that our daughter can work in TISCO. We hope that she will be based on her position and work hard, not only to realize her own life value, but also to contribute to the high-quality development of TISCO."
Xu Zhibo, from Linfen, graduated with a master's degree in metallurgical engineering from Taiyuan University of Technology. He came to TISCO Science and Technology Apartment from the train station in a shuttle bus specially prepared by TISCO for them. Now he has applied for a job at Steelmaking Plant No. 1, and the person who accompanied him from beginning to end was Li Ke, director of the General Management Office of Steelmaking Plant No. 1. Li Ke said that attaching importance to talent work is a long-standing tradition of TISCO, and our Steelmaking Plant No. 1 is even more responsible for cherishing talents, and it is my responsibility to do my best to ensure that talents have no worries.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Human Resources Department, TISCO Group adopts a combination of online and offline methods to carry out the recruitment of college graduates in 2024 through multiple channels. The number and quality of recruitment have increased year-on-year. A total of more than 110 doctoral students, master's students, and undergraduates have been introduced, most of whom are from domestic double first-class universities and overseas famous universities. They will be employed in enterprises affiliated to bases in Taiyuan and other cities. In order to do a good job in the recruitment of new employees this year, the Human Resources Department and the Youth League Committee of the company will take the lead, and all relevant departments will coordinate and cooperate to form a service work plan in advance, assign responsibilities to people, and ensure that the reporting, training, and posting of new employees in various regions are smoothly connected, so that new employees can personally feel the strong atmosphere of TISCO's recognition, love, and emphasis on talents, and lay a solid foundation for them to adapt to their jobs faster.
