Guizhou is a vast province with abundant resources and delicious food everywhere. Guizhou people love to eat and are good at eating. Many foreign tourists who come to Guizhou are not only impressed by Guizhou's pristine natural scenery and ethnic minority culture, but are also deeply attracted by the delicious food everywhere.
A friend from Liuzhou, Guangxi, came to Guiyang for the first time. I took her to eat sour soup fish, sour soup beef, Changwang noodles, silk dolls, Shuicheng mutton noodles... This friend is a real foodie and praised Guizhou cuisine. What's more, she had never eaten Zheergen before, but after trying it for the first time, she showed the same enthusiasm as Guizhou people. Since then, this girl has been to Guizhou to check in every holiday. She said that if she hadn't been married, she would definitely quit her job and come to Guizhou to work. Every time she goes back, she has to pack shrimp sour beef, spicy chicken, etc. From this point of view, Guizhou cuisine does have its own charm. However, today, a new Guizhou cuisine is quietly brewing, and it is Guishi mooncakes.
Guishi Mooncake is a ham mooncake made with an exclusive secret recipe from the staff canteen of Guizhou Radio and Television Station. The mooncake is made according to the traditional Yunnan-style mooncake making process, with selected Yunnan Xuanwei ham and honey as fillings, and is carefully processed with winter honey, lard, sugar, etc. to make delicious fillings. Each mooncake is strictly checked by an electronic scale, and is hand-wrapped and baked in a 1:1 ratio of dough and fillings. It is crispy and fragrant, sweet and salty, and not greasy. After eating, the rich aroma of the ham and the crispy aroma of the dough will linger on your tongue and teeth for a long time, leaving you with an endless aftertaste.
