Players of Bad Boys 2 are trying to cope with a series of recent nerfs with diminished enthusiasm, but the CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios is also having a hard time trying to stamp out the game's bugs.

Bad Boys 2 has been a tortuous journey between buffs and nerfs, with developer Arrowhead sometimes going too far in its pursuit of ultimate balance.

While Bad Kids 2's update made significant changes to the popular co-op shooter by adding new enemy types, a weird swamp biome, and social menu fixes, it also reintroduced some nerfs.

On Twitter, Arrowhead's recently appointed CEO Shams Jorjani said he, too, was "sickened by flamethrowers" at difficulty 9, which one Reddit thread suggested could be a sign that Arrowhead will be rolling back recent fire-related changes.

Jorjani later clarified in the comments of the post that he is "not very good at this game either" and usually plays on lower difficulty levels. He continued: "But fortunately our design is not based on whether or not I get abused. We will continue to pay attention to feedback, data and keep tweaking to make the game more fun/better."
