On August 23, Peking University Golden Autumn Hohhot Saihan District Experimental School was unveiled in Hohhot City.
Peking University Jinqiu Hohhot Saihan District Experimental School implements the "two self-management and one package" management model reform and strives to build a nine-year school with Peking University characteristics. The school is located at the intersection of Shuangtaishi Street and Dongying South Road, covers an area of 90 acres, and plans to have 60 primary and junior high school classes, providing 3,300 places. The school has specially hired a nationally renowned principal management team and introduced outstanding backbone teachers from Hubei, Guangdong and other places to teach. High-quality educational resources will inject new vitality into the high-quality development of Saihan education.
Li Yujiao said in his speech that the cooperation between Peking University Jinqiu and Saihan District is a strategic choice for the two sides to cooperate and build together. It is also a vivid practice of Saihan District to implement the autonomous region's Beijing-Inner Mongolia cooperation "Education Doubling Plan" and the "10 Measures for Hohhot to Promote High-quality and Balanced Development of Education". It is a powerful measure for Saihan District to implement self-employment of teachers, independent management, and lump-sum funding, implement the autonomy of schools in running schools, and provide all-round guarantees in terms of funding support and teacher assessment. It is hoped that the experimental school will "start with high standards, start with high quality, and grow at an accelerated pace", and strive to build the school into a model benchmark for comprehensive education reform based on the capital's resources, the best standards, and the first-class in the district, and make greater contributions to promoting the high-quality development of education in the capital.
