In the land of Ba-Yu, the renovation project of the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway Chongqing Station to Jiangjin Station section is in full swing, like a passionate construction song, playing the strong voice of the times.
Chengdu-Chongqing Railway, as the first railway built after the founding of New China, has been carrying an important mission since its birth and has made great contributions to the development of the southwest region. However, with the changes of the times and the rapid development of the economy, the original line can no longer meet the growing transportation needs. This renovation project has set sail again with a new historical mission. Looking at the construction site, the workers are sweating profusely, speeding up the construction, and catching up with the progress. Every drop of sweat reflects the light of responsibility and commitment.
Chengdu-Chongqing Railway, a 29.93-kilometer-long traffic artery, is like a winding dragon, connecting six stations including Jiangjin, Shengquan, Huanglan, Xipeng, Tongguanyi, and Shichang, as well as the Moujia Line Station. Among them, Shengquan Station and Xipeng Station are like two new stars, shining brightly in the journey of new construction; the other stations are like veterans who have experienced wind and rain, regaining vitality in the transformation.
Today, the bridge project has been completed by 81.84%, like a long rainbow lying on the waves, showing a majestic figure; the tunnel project has been completed by 58.22%, like a dragon in the abyss, pregnant with infinite possibilities; the roadbed project has been completed by 44.65%, like the foundation of the earth, laying a solid foundation. These progresses, just like "without going through the bitter cold, how can the plum blossoms smell fragrant", condense the efforts and wisdom of countless builders.
We are eagerly waiting for the Jiangjin to Tongguanyi section to meet the conditions for opening in June 2025 and to be fully open to traffic in June 2026. By then, it will be like a spring breeze, moistening the land; like a bright pearl, illuminating the road to development; like a soaring wing, helping the economy soar.
