On August 2, a number of alcohol-hydrogen electric products under Geely Star Bus were included in the newly released "Catalogue of Energy-Saving and New Energy Vehicle Models Enjoying Vehicle and Vessel Tax Reduction and Exemption" (64th batch) and "Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models Enjoying Vehicle Purchase Tax Reduction and Exemption" (8th batch). The entire product series covers alcohol-hydrogen electric buses, and the technical route has been recognized by the state.
In addition to the above policies, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Finance issued the "Implementation Rules for Subsidies for New Energy City Buses and Power Battery Updates" on July 29, which clarified the fixed subsidy policy for urban bus companies to update new energy city buses and replace power batteries. Specifically, an average subsidy of 80,000 yuan will be given for each new energy city bus updated. The introduction of this policy undoubtedly provides strong policy support for the development of Geely Star Bus, especially its alcohol-hydrogen electric technology route.
