Recently, the China Anti-Doping Agency has issued a series of statements, each one containing more information than the previous one.
At the beginning, the statement was aimed at the false reports of some American media and hit back at the hype and smear against Chinese swimmers; later, in response to the widespread anti-doping black box operations, long-arm jurisdiction, and double standards in American sports, it called on the international community to increase the frequency of doping tests on American track and field athletes and restore the confidence of global athletes in fair competition.
Such a statement is very necessary!
The official website of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) released a statement regarding the United States Anti-Doping Agency’s cover-up and tolerance of doping violations.

Since April this year, the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and some foreign media have published a number of false reports on food contamination incidents involving Chinese swimmers. As the Olympic Games are in full swing, the New York Times has once again hyped up the "2022 Chinese athlete's positive testosterone case."
What happened? A Chinese athlete was dining out and, without knowing it, consumed contaminated meat. As a result, he tested positive for very low concentrations of methandrostenol metabolites in an out-of-competition test conducted by the China Anti-Doping Center.
The evidence of food contamination is irrefutable, and the China Anti-Doping Center will not bring charges against him for doping violations in accordance with the regulations. This has also been recognized by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the World Swimming Federation. The Swiss independent prosecutor has specially investigated the matter and confirmed that there is no problem.
Two years later, after a proper investigation, some people still wanted to make things awkward by rehashing the old story. As they were rehashing it, they exposed their own troubles: in March this year, American track and field athlete Knighton was found to be positive for steroids (trenbolone) in a doping test.
But the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) said that trenbolone was not new and that the athletes had eaten contaminated meat because it was a "well-known livestock growth promoter" used around the world. Therefore, they did not punish Knighton and allowed him to compete in the Paris Olympics.
Trenbolone, a protein anabolic agent, has a strong effect of improving strength and explosive power, and is by no means a "common pollutant." The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China has long announced that it is prohibited to use this thing in food animals to ensure food safety and public health.
If Knighton's consumption of contaminated meat was "accidental", why did USADA detect trenbolone in different batches of beef purchased from the same restaurant two months after the incident? If beef in the US market is really widely contaminated with trenbolone, wouldn't more athletes in the US be positive? We need to investigate! If the safety of US meat food is so worrying, why didn't USADA warn athletes of the risks, and let them "accidentally" walk into a restaurant and "accidentally" eat trenbolone multiple times?
What's even more outrageous is that in recent years, there have been hundreds of trenbolone-positive cases around the world, and the vast majority of positive athletes were punished based on the four-year ban standard, with only three American athletes escaping punishment.
In the Knighton case, the World Anti-Doping Agency had not yet reviewed the case file, but USADA hurriedly declared that "justice has been served"; the statement was withdrawn from USADA's official website not long after it was posted, along with past statements on "no-fault contamination cases"; and Knighton, who is now at the center of suspicion, actually quietly slipped away from the media mixed interview area of the Paris Olympics!

Knighton was unilaterally "pardoned" by USADA, which also implicated the agency's dark history in handling a series of doping cases.
For example, Lewis, the nine-time Olympic gold medalist from the United States, tested positive three times before the 1988 Seoul Olympics, but still managed to represent the United States in Seoul;
Gatlin, the 100-meter champion of the 2004 Athens Olympics, tested positive twice. USADA tried hard to exonerate him and eventually shortened the ban from lifetime to four years.
In April this year, the American track and field athlete Bailey tested positive for oseltamivir. USADA insisted that the "thigh compression sleeve" he used was contaminated, but oseltamivir is not a substance that can be found in thigh compression sleeves at will.
American athlete Roberts, who won the gold medal in the men's 4x400m relay at the Rio Olympics, was "pardoned" by USADA in 2017 on the grounds of "positive doping test due to kissing his girlfriend." In 2022, he was again found to have taken banned drugs and was banned for 16 months. In 2023, he was banned for another 8 years for positive doping test - it was really "exciting" to test positive from kissing!
As a signatory to the World Anti-Doping Code, USADA specifically gives the green light to American athletes. On paper, everything is done in accordance with the Code, but the four most watched professional sports leagues in the United States, MLB (baseball), NBA (basketball), NFL (football), NHL (ice hockey), etc., are not subject to the Code.
On August 7, the World Anti-Doping Agency issued a statement saying that USADA allowed athletes who took doping to compete, which was a clear violation of the World Anti-Doping Agency's rules aimed at "protecting the integrity of sports competition." In addition to the public cases, the World Anti-Doping Agency is also aware of "at least three cases in which athletes who seriously violated anti-doping rules were allowed to continue competing for many years" by USADA.
They turn a blind eye to their own “bad habits” but are busy smearing Chinese athletes and institutions. This blatant political manipulation not only exists in American politics, but also in American sports. They are truly “famous for double standards”!

What does the United States rely on to attack other countries? Long-arm jurisdiction is indispensable.
In 2020, the White House signed and implemented the Rodchenkov Anti-Doping Act, allowing the United States to exercise "extraterritorial criminal jurisdiction" over doping incidents in international sports events, including requiring international sports organizations to share investigation information and allowing U.S. judicial agencies to conduct cross-border investigations into foreign organizations and individuals.
During the process of the bill's introduction, it was strongly opposed by the International Olympic Committee and the World Anti-Doping Agency, which once warned that "the introduction of the bill will seriously undermine the framework system of international anti-doping work."
But the United States refused to listen. Shortly before the Paris Olympics, the U.S. Congress asked Banka, the president of the World Anti-Doping Agency, to attend a hearing on the agency's testing of Chinese swimmers - of course, this unreasonable request was immediately rejected.
Not only that, Banka also announced that he would review the Rodchenkov Anti-Doping Act, emphasizing that "the United States cannot arbitrarily grant itself the right to investigate anti-doping cases in countries around the world."
Would the "world police" care about you, a sports world? When the Chinese swimming team was subjected to intensive testing before the competition and Chinese swimmers were tested nearly 200 times by the World Anti-Doping Agency within 10 days of arriving in France without any problems, USADA still insisted on publicly questioning the honesty and professionalism of the relevant agencies.
In order to prevent the US from extending its evil hands again and again, the International Olympic Committee recently announced that if the World Anti-Doping Agency's supreme authority in the anti-doping fight is not fully respected, or the implementation of the World Anti-Doping Code is hindered or undermined, Salt Lake City's hosting rights for the 2034 Winter Olympics may be terminated.
Competitive sports are a world of openness, transparency and self-improvement. The US side's use of such unpresentable means to cheat and its disgusting and despicable tactics to suppress its opponents is the greatest blasphemy against the Olympic spirit.
